He was so instrumental in 2018 it's amazing people coming on here and bagging the bloke who is obviously trying to play injured. Unfortunately it's been two seasons now so don't know that he'll come good.

I've banged on about this twice now, what has happened with our player development? In 2018 we had a young exciting list but the bottom 10 or so still needed more work to realise their potential. Well not only have they not improved but I can easily name you 9 players that have gone backwards. Granted Jones, Jetta (age) TMac, AVB (injury) have reasons but then we have brought in May , Lever and Tomlinson ( obviously a defender by the way). None of our lower ranked players have come on at all, in fact the only player that has significantly improved is Trac. We all know if you stand still in this game you are going backwards. Who is responsible for player Development because just recycling the ANB's of the side sure isn't working. Example why is Lockhart not being played?

Seen this too often from Weideman, will never be more than an average player. Needs to be 2nd or third man, not good enough for the number 1 key.

People said the same things re 6 changes before the St. Kilda game. Thought it would be obvious to most the side looked flat and tired during the Swans game and now it's a four day break, needed a freshen up. Can't understand why Lockhart is not playing though.

Plenty of well constructed arguments for all sides on this topic. Interesting comment from Ken Hinkley today " all sides are struggling to play consistently due to the compressed season".

Good points the forward line is our biggest weakness, both defence and attack wise. Need Weideman to still go to another level.
