  1. I find it odd he only came 5th in the most courageous player award....
  2. I'm not 100% sure what the modern press is, but the way the Bulldogs go about it, coming in waves and holding it in their forward line is fantastic. Take that passage of play around half way through the last quarter, were time and time again Sydney tried to clear it only for a Bulldogs player to smother the kick or get a fingertip on the ball or push it through legs to an opponent....until finally, i think it was Picken? kicks the goal. Awesome. I also noticed 2 or 3 guys constantly running at the pack marking contests and pouncing on the spilt ball, completely free, time and time again.
  3. Assuming you meant the Norm Smith, you are a prophet!
  4. Melbourne is still 1.50...get on while you still can.
  5. My Dad passed recently. A 75+ years Dees supporter.....He'd ring me after every win.....and most losses..We hoped we could do another finals series together, hope the boys can do it for him today. Cheers guys.
  6. I wouldn't have thought a couple of hi res cameras would be out of the question in a multi million or billion or whatever it is tv rights deal..
  7. Seriously, why is it at the Olympics I can see the sweat on an athletes eyelash on the replay, but on afl the all important score review cameras are as clear as mud. Like if you are going to employ technology, try googling cameras ffs.
  8. Probably just another totally confused Melbourne supporter....
  9. Game starts in just a few hours, looking forward to it also.
  10. Frightening actually. After contested marking and landing on 1 leg on a slippery surface. We have 1 very important big man in the ruck, and well frankly....."every time i see you falling, i get down on my knees and pray."
  11. WC looking like they might give em a bath tonight. Must be the same inexperienced team from a few weeks ago.
  12. Rained heavily all day in Central Victoria. Hoping that it has done its dash and will mostly fine up for Sunday. Geelong is the team i would prefer not to play in the wet.
  13. Then again wonder what Bolt is doing after the Olympics? We could put him on the Rookie list, he could just run the ball out of the backline all day!
  14. Weather forcast for next Saturday at Geelong is 16c with some clouds. Think wed rather a sunny day than rain down there.
  15. Must be the best injury list at such a late stage in the season in about the last 40 years!
  16. I thought the team that finishes higher gets a home final, and because Cat park is unavailable, it would end up at Etihad?
