This. We don't play as a team which makes all our possessions under pressure. We haven't played like a team for a long time. There are so many things going wrong at the moment I don't even know where to start. We've seen in the games where the bailey plan worked, great skills all round.. They all know how to kick, they wouldn't be playing at this level otherwise. It's the inconsistency of effort and not being able or unwilling to adhere to a game plan.

The good news is neeld understands this. Why are none of our older "leaders" in the leadership group this year? He knows it's up to the young fellas. I just worry how far back we are due our horrible culture and abysmal recruiting.

Well it's what I've heard and seriously how could you not put that past our current senior playing group. Do they look like they care our there on the field. I think we can all admit we have a serious culture issue and a record of paying overs for players who have managed to pull together a good last season of contracts. See davey.

I'm over this footy club. Call me what you will. We pay this footy club good money every year. I bet the players were rapt that scully left, not because he's a rat, but because they will get better contracts now. This club is now about the players getting the best cash they can now, not premierships. They are taking the pi$$ out of us supporters.

Trengove, magner, Gysberts -KEEP. The rest are really no good. Moloney, jones are in our best few players which is why we are so rubbish. Sylvia, the penny hasn't dropped. It never will. Sylvia should be traded like McLean and TJ. Get something while he is still worth something.

We can't win. I honestly think we will lose by 50+. They've shown at least some promising passages of play. We have showed nothing in 2 games so far. Can't see it clicking all of a sudden.These players don't care, get used to it. Melbourne don't know how to win.

Im close to giving up. I watched half of the eagles match then decided to go the MCG to watch the tigers. At least they have a crack. Watching us is disturbing. To think this was the year we were supposed to be challenging for the 8. We have 2 new teams in the league and we will be challenging them for the wooden spoon. Is it almost time for the AFL to step in and demand answers? Why aren't we progressing? Do the people we have in charge of the club have any idea? Our last recruiting officer was a fraud, and cameron wasn't much better. Our last 10 years of drafting has been an example of how not to build a list. I look at our list and shake my head. There is not a lot to be excited about. And not much improvement to come. Richmond have been able to ride the wave of disappointment, but we just don't have that sort of blue collar support. Another 2-3 years of this and all the work Jim did will be in vain. We won't exist. This is about the most pessimistic I've ever been about the club. We are in some serious trouble.

Don't want eddies help but I really think the AFL should cover Energy Watch installments till we find a replacement. The club certainly took a hit to maintain the club and the AFLs integrity.

We were gift wrapped a few years of being able to recruit the best kids in the land and we absolutely fluffed it. With very very few exceptions. I love Jack Watts as a player but I still haven't seen anything screaming " THATS WHY HES A NO 1 PICK ". Its in the clubs best interest to get some higher picks this year. The way we are playing this will happen regardless. Our list has no stars, nothing stands out. Its just so average. And boring. No flair. Nothing.

After 4 years it was safe to say the demons didn't get baileys plan. How do we expect the same list to get neelds in one game. It's laughable to think bailey said the next coach would have an arm chair ride into the finals this year. Bailey was a class act but obviously very delusional.

I actually think we need to rebuild in general. You have to put our drafting Down as a failure. New 5 year plan starts now. We are the new Richmond. Grimes, frawley, trengove, watts. These are the 4 players I can only seriously see become the elite players we are craving for.

I know it's only round one, but judging on today and last year, he's done. Funny how it was all Downhill from getting that massive contract.

Sigh. Why did we end up with the player who only wanted money. I think now that scully is gone its good that the big clubs are keeping their players and stretching their caps. Puts us in the drivers seat when we decide to steal some players back from GWS.

I'm really sick of collingwood. First theyre all for the league expansion and compensation is fair but don't you dare take anyone from collingwood or we will crush you. I acknowledge it would be more than slightly annoying to lose a coach in finals but from what I remembered neeld offered to stay and you showed him the door. Geelong have lost ablett, Thompson and a slew of assistant coaches over the last few years. You don't see them constantly complaining do you Eddie? They just got on with the business of winning premierships.

Just wanted to add both jack grimes and jack trengove spoke so well yesterday. Jim, your spirit lives on in these 2 outstanding young leaders. You have left the club in great hands.
