  1. No good coach is willing to take the risk to come to us. The club acted like they got their man with Neeld. We only got neeld because malthouse, roos, clarkson and lyon said thanks but no thanks.
  2. Just keep blaming royal. Its clearly all his fault. Its a group effort to get us to this point, not a line coach for gods sakes.
  3. You feel for the bloke, but he's just not up to it. He's ruining this club.
  4. That James frawley effort was awful. Compare that to his chase down of Lewis Jetta a few years ago.
  5. He's not a defender. He's not a forward. What is he then? A guy with a bad beard?
  6. My gut feeling is that Neeld can't coach. He peed off a lot of players. A lot of players have gone backwards. Only jones and T-Mac have improved but i think that's more from being self driven than some magic words from Neeld. But with someone like Neil Craig overseeing his actions, if Neeld was completely not up to it surely he would have spoken up by now. Of maybe he already has and it's been swept under our evergrowing carpet. With this club who knows?
  7. The board and football department should release a book called the idiots guide how to ruin a football club. They've had their chance and have cocked up at nearly every turn. Unfortunately if no one offers a solution then we are stuck with them, although I think a lot of positions at the club will become untenable if we continue playing like this in the coming months. I'm interested In the AFLs opinion in how the club is Being run. The AFL sells the competiton to the networks as an even competition but most games involving melbourne and the expansion teams is a guaranteed loss. Surely there will be a please explain soon. Perhaps if the board needs to be removed and/or football department positions the AFL could step in and make recommendations to replacements which I'm not against. We can't keep making these monumental mistakes, we won't exist soon. I have family members who are entrenched in the football industry and the horror stories I hear about the business side of our club is heartbreaking. If the club manages to get off the canvas with the current administration it would be a miracle. It makes trying up support this club, paying your membership, and going to the games hoping for improvement is like entering a boxing ring with your hands tied behind your back. I really hope the media keeps on their back, keeps them honest. We are being fed so much BS from our club through the media, that there's no problems, and we need to stick the journey, blah blah. There are too many people involved that are more about self interest, than the clubs interest. That's why people like CS stick to their guns in the war, instead of doing the right thing by the club and supporters by leaving. Sick of this boys club, they are all protecting each other. The AFL rules over all of them though, they will be found out eventually and hopefully we will get our club back into good hands once again.
  8. I can't believe people still want him to come back and run the club. He is instrumental in our off field woes and making sure the Boys club stays together regardless of what the players think of them.
  9. I spoke to an afl player manager who said melbourne were easily the most unprofessional of all clubs off the field and the best decision his client did for his career is leaving this club. It's not great hearing this about the club, but this is the real reality bus not the crap we put out at press conferences and media interviews about the buy in at the club. Have a look at this group playing today. Does this look like a happy football club?
  10. It's not by accident. Our decision making skills off the field are as poor as our onfield decision making.
  11. Jack watts, officially the worst no 1 pick of all time now. Can't even get a touch without an opponent.
  12. The AFL have designed a system (which we have exploited) that makes sure teams don't stay on the bottom for extended periods of time. We haven't moved in 6 years. The amount of poor decisions we have made are well documented, but my concern is that over this period of time we have the same people making these decisions. It's time for a massive clean up at board and management level. They obviously have no idea how to run a football club. We won't have a football club to support if this continues for years to come.
  13. Watts. Just lol. People thought he was gonna be AA this year.
  14. You can see the look on the faces of the players. The here we go again face. Sick of this garbage.
  15. No improvement at all. Another year and more teams go ahead of us. The rot at this club seems almost irreversible at this stage.
  16. Dodged a bullet with Scully. He's going to continue to struggle. Being the no 1 draft pick is enough pressure. To walk out on your club after 2 years and believe you are good enough to be on ablett money, well now you're really gonna struggle.
  17. You can't really defend this bloke anymore. He's a tool.
  18. I tipped port. FFS get your house in order Melbourne and prove us supporters wrong.
  19. Dawes is not having a great pre-season. Not exactly set up to be earning that coin this year.
  20. There is nothing surer than him leaving at the end of the year.
  21. I have a really bad feeling about this year. We stink and looking at the list I don't have much optimism for the future.
  22. I love this "it's only a practice match" mentality some of us have on here, like its miraculously going to click in round one. The only teams who can take this attitude are top 4 teams that don't start training till after Christmas. We have been on the track since October for the last 6 years and we still look like a locals side. Wake up, we're rubbish!
  23. Moloney didn't want to be there from the moment Neeld walked in. You don't just forget how to play footy.
  24. Maybe Sylvia just isn't as good as we would have hoped?
