  1. Under bailey when jordie was Injured it made a huge impact on our team IMO. Seemed depleted in confidence under Neeld (anyone noticing a trend here?). I believe this bloke is our Shane tuck. Just let the kid play with some freedom. He's a see ball get call, see player tackle player. Re-enforce that to him and just let him play.
  2. We could have just told them the M in MCG stood for Mission.
  3. He hits the ball with pace and moves! Love it.
  4. I had a quiet giggle when he was directing Watts. You're at Melbourne kiddo. We don't lead!
  5. Tapscott does it when he see the opportunity. But apart from That he's not offering much else.
  6. Noticed that against Cloke. He was recruited as a big body. He should have put cloke out of commission then. It's those hard contests that lift teams. Look at Hodge against Carlton to see the impact some hard footy can have on your team mates.
  7. I'm glad the boards are being cleared at the dees. I've mentioned it before but I've heard some horror stories about how unprofessional the club is. I have a family member who has a business with a few silent partners including footy players and managers. One managers client left last year and said it was the best career move he'd ever make. Said the club was just impossible to deal with and are going nowhere. This is why we are seeing Jackson and Craig pubically making the goal of making this club a good career move for our players.
  8. Looking at this season in isolation we should be eligible for one, but we all know we don't deserve one, and I'm quite happy to develop what we have. Watts, trengove, toumpas, Hogan already at the club as top 4 picks. This year we will have pick 1 or 2. Next year we will have another top 3 pick. Id take a end of first round draft pick as they are usually good bargaining for a trade. Dawes, and wellingham went round there last year.
  9. He's soft an unaccountable. It's another inconsistency in Neelds strategy. Doesn't fit into "the hardest team to play against" model in my eyes.
  10. Rooey was sickening. It's what he does week in week out. I like to think he's talented enough to not resort to that garbage.
  11. They have the videos up on the footy classified website usually on Tuesday.
  12. He had to go. His decision making skills have been up there with the worst we've made in the last decade and that's saying something. The failure of his mature age recruits was the nail in the coffin for me. You can't expect us to believe this rebuild line when you did that.
  13. It was Cameron Scwhab. He is still yet to be replaced.
  14. " I Do things my way ". Neeld your arrogance and complete overestimation of your knowledge of the game is mindboggling. Complete discredit any work that had been done before. Look how well the "Neeld way" is going. Absolute disaster of a coach. Can't wait for this nightmare to be over.
  15. If Neeld stays until the end of the season we will be playing to Sheffield shield crowds. There are people who think we actually have a chance against the saints and bulldogs. We are 80 points worse than every team in the competiton bar GWS (though I'm worried as we play them again).
  16. If the standards are higher than why are we so poor? I would have thought the more work you put in the better you get. All points to one thing. This man can't coach.
  17. We really can't expect to see anymore wins this year with this terrible list Neeld has assembled. I've accepted this
  18. Give Bailey the extra million Neeld got for his footy department. We wouldn't be behind the expansion clubs now I assure you.
  19. As long as he is not in the FD he is fine. His work off field often goes unnoticed. A friend works at Casey council and they absolutely love him there.
  20. 2 different coaches, Malthouse as a mentor, now Watson? Anyone else wanna have a crack at firing this kid up?
  21. I think we have Become an unofficial expansion club. Hurts the pride a bit, and what little respect we have left from other clubs is going, but when we have been run so poorly for so long it's either this, or sink.
  22. Knowing melbourne we will let him know in the warm up round 24 that he will be delisted.
  23. The inconsistency of his message may be his downfall. I don't buy that this was a rebuild when he took over. This only started coming up a few rounds in this season. Neeld seemed shocked round one last year. And shocked again this year. If it was a proper rebuild we wouldn't have brought in all those spuds this season.
  24. Good article. They're are Neeld haters and Neeld lovers on here. The reality is with the list in its current state and current injuries, norm smith would struggle. It's up to the club to decide whether or not this bloke can coach. I tentatively trust them to make the right decision.
