I bought tickets for next week at the gabba and they have removed the option to print tickets at home. I mean, wtf, it's my resources being expended and I like to have a fail-safe confirmation in my hand. It's like they don't want people to attend. How have they added so much complexity to something that was and should be so simple.

Always thought sub suited older mature players like Melksham. Won't have as big an impact on his fitness not playing a whole game for a few weeks unlike a younger developing player. Should also be able to slot into the system easier due to his experience.

The club's Kayo membership is great for someone like me who is interstate so generally get the Armchair membership which is included in this package. I had the Telstra deal for the last few years at only $15 for 2 screens but that ended so the club deal came at the right time. My email also said it is a 2 screen package which makes it much better than the usual $30 a month the price was going up to.

Maybe slightly off topic, but will our AFLW team have a flag raising ceremony ths year. I made it down to Melbourne for the Men's ceremony last year. If there will be one, does anyone have any Intel on when?

The women's game is more important than many realise. Anyone with young daughters who love footy would tell you that. It's improving every year, and is increasing the participation rate amongst girls, who eventually become women invested in AFL, and in turn the Demons.

You seem to be dogmatically holding on to you opinion that they should have been there. What I and Rpfc, and no doubt others are saying is perhaps they shouldn't. Daisy and the the AFLW are enough. They don't need to be saved by the appearance of the male team. I have yet to see anything that suggests a fracture in the club between the two teams and I am proud of the respect the club shows for the the womens game.

And they were busy training. Daisy was right to have the announcement at the time of her and her management's choosing. That timing would have been more to do with the news cycle than the availability of the men's team. The AFLW is a stand alone, not a sideshow for the men's comp. That's why they don't play curtain raisers!! I usually like your options and insight, but you are really revealing your inner dinosaur here.
