At least we get the opportunity for revenge for the 1958 Grand Final when they prevented us from winning a record six consecutive Premierships (viz. 1955, 1956, 1957, xxxx, 1959 &1960)!  To beat Collingwood by a point with a Sam Weideman goal kicked after the siren would be a wonderful sight (especially if the cameras were all trained on Eddie McGuire)! ?

Another who is nervous as hell despite being simultaneously confident. I hate it when we are: 1) outright favourites, and/or 2) Garry Lyon picks us! it has rarely augered well for us in the past!

On his 92nd Birthday last year I took him, my daughter and my brother for lunch at the “G” to witness a Dees’ win! He died full of confidence!

Clearing out the family home last weekend following the death of my father, I stumbled upon an original Weg poster from 1955, which was the year that kicked off our golden era. I hope that this was a premonition of our second golden era!

Hopefully Cooper and Ox (and Mrs Ox) alll post on here and realise how dear they are to us!

Yesterday made the pick exchange that effectively resulted in us getting Salem and Weideman for Kelly, look even sweeter! ?

Why was Corey Wagner rather then Josh Wagner listed amongst the best players when the statistics seemed to suggest the opposite (viz. 110 vs 91 dream time points)? p.s. Goodoil (post #129) suggests Josh was the better of the two but had both amongst the best players.

I hope that they bury the filth. Be wrapped if we play Tigers Round 1 of the Finals!

If the Dockers beat the Pies next weekend (and we overcome GWS), then we will be playing the Tigers at the MCG on the First Week of the Finals! Certainly hope that we get this double chance (as I will be overseas on the first weekend of the finals)!
