im sick of hearing of sydney there is no team in the AFL I hate more overrated peice of crap.... if we played like syndey i would have to turn to folling melbourens storm (rugby).... im sick of u comparing us too sydney coz we are not like them and i hope we never will be.... apart from the fact they won a premiership recently. but still u get my point. i belive the fact syndey are soo good is based pureley on confidence and consistancy.... any team can beat sydney on their day.

ive always rated colin higher than brock .... not performance wise just potential im sure he can step up he has shown us some of his best footy from time to time.... maybe he can step up and prove he is a potential leader for the future?

How is it Grants Fault.... he couldnt take his kick from 45m because heath shaw was standing 15 m over the marks... the ump blew his whistle and clearly pointed where shaw HAD to be standing if he was on the original mark. 50-50 = 0 yep more like 45-50= -5 he should have been takin the kick from the grandstand on no ANGLE at all! saying they kicked to many points doesnt make a difference... they got robbed by unconsistant umpring. anyone got a stat for free kicks resutling in goals? cos we did get owned in their forward 50, the free kicks were soft and not nessecary at best. this holding the ball rule is otu of control.

interesting .... is there room for so much young "talent"? Jones , Bate, Bartram, CJ, Bell i know they have to learn but these guys all did some good things last night but id prefer a handfull of players before them. brock will be a deffinate out i guess. and wheels i have no idea. Rivers will come in for CJ at this stage i think Daniel Belll is still better than CJ. Bell went very hard at the ball and attacked it well, but he still blazed away and gave the ball up a few times. Pickett in for Bate. Miller can not be dropped it was eveident he tried very hard and lead well all night. (skill errors ) i dont think Yze can be dropped either few dropped marks is not going to make the difference , he did go and get the ball a few times. interesting if u look at his stats i think he may have had more handballs than kicks or close too.... never heard off .... this gameplan could end his record for him. Bizz in for wheels if necessary it would be silly to make anymore changes as can unbalance the team too much but u would have to consider blokes like PJ , Bizz and fergy wouldnt mind seeing a TALL melbourne side this year one game lets say we chuck Jamar PJ all up there with neitz and robbo and have miller and dunn up hte ground.

it does worry me... when st kilda went on their goal kicking frenzy it was a patch when melbourne were gettin all sorts of free kicks payed against them... 2 melbourne players were fighting for the ball against one st kilda player. and the rest of the st kilda team was screamin "BALL" there were atleast 4 incorrect decisions and were no where near consistant enough. In the back rule was a joke, not payed unless it was in the forward line. Melb lost all confidence at going at the ball.... we were smashin the saints early on...

i dont like to sound like a sore loser but... melbourne were going along fine... untill the in the back rule the holding the ball rule destroyed our confidence there is going to be alot of unhappy fans if this rubbish continues. never seen a worse performane of umpiring it was far from consistant.

very harsh people... yze did not play that bad at all. every person on the team made stupid mistakes apart from white and neitz. i also think miller presented well and althought his confidence was low it looked promising and he appeared to try very hard. The only thing u got on mclean is he is hard at the ball. Bruce will captain the MFC there is no doubt about it, he doesnt have it ? he goes missing when the heat is on ? please explain.. get some hard facts and ill believe u... u people on demonland have made me hate mclean. i wish he never got that WEAK FREE KICK. Mclean has one thing over Bruce bruce is not consistantly injured- because he doesnt go wreckless into a contest wat many of u call so called "going hard" just let me tell u he had plenty of tackles and im sure he did not have as much contested possesion as his ability to run off his player is the best of almost any in the leauge.

always been a bigger sylvia fan than brock or jones bate ect. hes a great talent. hes stood up in games before just not consistantly i remember a desperate melbourne side at the Gabba last year and sylvia was one of few who stood up. hope he can do it this year. 3 goals in one half if a great effort. bring back pickett and sylvia round 3-4 would be huge inclusions.

well said, he is exceptional player and is perhaps slightly over-rated at this stage in his career. St kilda game maybe has made him look perhaps better than he is. im am not doubting his ability, but cam bruce has also performed in big games and almost every game for a long period of time. i am also spectical about brock as he has been very injruy prone in his short career next year no chance. there was an article in the herald sun about 1-2 weeks ago, about russel robertson. dont know if any one read it. one particular paragraph that stood out. talkin about the leadership group, the article is slightly unclear "Cameron Bruce is probably going to be our next leader and (David Neitz) `Neita's' the captain. coz hes not a hard nut u dislike him SAME BLOODY STORY. ive never seen a season where brock hasnt got injured whealan or picket. yze,hes there every week. contact sport but do u want him on a suicide mission. yze is albanian not alkeda, smart footballers preserve their bodies. since when has it matter where u tackle the person from ? from behind have a sook he layed a tackle thats why it goes down as a stat.
