  1. I think the giants are the clear best team but they're a little arrogant and in a hard tough final that may cost them
  2. Dogs remind me of the hawks, won a flag ahead of schedule and still need to mature, don't think they'll be there again this year crows and giants are the standout teams for me
  3. I still think jake lever is the one we should be chasing, would compliment the McDonald brothers well down back a good young ruckman to get some more depth in that area would be handy also
  4. I think we would be backing our guys to be better one on one all over the ground. Id love to let Oliver and Fyfe go head to head
  5. I suspect it's a fine tuning thing, I like oscar as a player but I am sure the coaches have some areas they want him to tidy up and Casey may be he best place to do that
  6. I suspect frost comes in because he can pinch hit in the ruck and allow watts to stay forward a bit more
  7. Our improved form is not only because of max gawn, we now have one of the best and most talented midfields in the game and I am backing them to play just as well under jake
  8. I find it amazing for a bloke in his second year performing the way he is and he has to find the one even slight negative. Jesus he did the same thing with Jesse and his goal kicking
  9. My first thought as well redleg but Goodwin is known to innovate so it wouldn't surprise me if he does try some things
  10. Could we go left field and just play watts as the full time ruck and enjoy the extra mid?
  11. If we best freo and get hogan back against the tigers I am backing us in to start the year 5-1 because I think we will beat the bombers as well
  12. Am I the only one who finds this really funny??
  13. I'm going to make the huge call and say I don't think we will notice the loss as much as people think. I think jake spencer is a capable ruckman who lives in the shadow of the best ruck in the game and an extended group of games will see him rise to the occasion and prove he is a capable afl ruckman, and it will help our mids not expect to win every single tap and play the ball
  14. I don't understand why having a one of dart at a music festival when his father is critically ill and he's stressed out of his mind is such a bad thing. Not sure the club could stop him even if they wanted to
  15. Another dig at the "experts" on here, clearly struggling with the discussion forum idea. While I agree that hannan should stay In the team I don't think your wording or response is anything like fair, if someone suggested Clayton Oliver or Jayden hunt be dropped I'd agree it's farcicle but I am not sure hannan is even close to that level yet. End of the day it's a discussion forum and if you're going to call posts "farcical" or have digs at the "experts" on demon land you'd want to be able to back up those views and to this point that's something I've never seen you do, simply presenting your opinion as a fact and dissmissing anyone who doesn't agree doesn't cut it in my view.
  16. As long as it doesn't become a habit I don't gaf. The club will have a word to him I'm sure but we have to remember he's a young person and If the worst thing he's doing is having a smoke in his time off then it's not a huge deal.
  17. Jake spencer is a very good player and extended run in the seniors might be just what he needs. He will be hungry and we know he has a red hot crack
  18. Again you haven't specifically addressed which calls you think are "boredering on farcical" i disagree with some of the calls by posters but I think if you're going to make strong statements about the quality of posters suggestions you should be prepaired to defend those statements.
  19. Have the saints lost a free kick count in the last 5 years? They always get the rub of the green
  20. Which specifically do you think are borderline farcical saty? Really interested to hear you defend your ideas beyond "the coaches know better"
  21. Also to add to that, won't do his confidence any good if he starts to struggle more often than not, he's going to be a good player long term but he's still very young
  22. Would be very handy this weekend if he is around the mark! Especially if Vince doesn't come up
  23. How far off is Michael hibberd?
  24. If we play like that every round of the year we will make top 4, we did so much right but our kicking let us down, that won't happen consistently nathan jones very rarely missed a shot st goal, yesterday he missed 3
