No I didn't say id prefer him to stay, just have a feeling he will Id rather pick 4 and the extra salary cap space to splash on a real gun
-
Still reckon he will stay I get the feeling he values playing with his mates a lot more than chasing a flag at a rival club If he wants success he will want it with the MFC, nowhere else
-
hey this may blow your mind but guess what We can get Boyd AND we can get midfielders Its not one or the other Amazing i know
-
hes looked ordinary so far but hes still young and had a knee reco
-
Would go hard at Boyd Hogan-Boyd combo would set us up for the next decade much like Franklin-Roughead did for the Hawks get Boyd and then get the best midfielders we can get our hands on in the draft or via trade

Then again perhaps we shouldnt be surprised. This after all was a regime born in deception. As matters stand that is probably the way it will die. But that death looks headed to be long and slow. Read more: Essendon continues to duck for cover Beautiful to read -

does anyone think Billy will play senior footy in 2015? Very excited about this kid btw Cant wait in a couple of years time when our centreline reads C - Stretch Viney Lovett -
How do you know they wont pay immediate dividend? Oliver Wines, Marcus Bontempelli, Kade Kolodjashnij, Jack Billings, Luke McDonald etc etc All high picks from the last couple of drafts who impacted immediately Using our picks doesn't mean we expect the players we take to be our salvation. This isn't the Schwab/Connolly era anymore
-
the hyperbole over the last couple of pages is hilarious Martin is almost 28 and has played a grand total of 5 games this season, and was useless for them last season. Yes hes had some good form since coming back into the Brisbane team. Good for him i guess Do we miss him? no Do we need him? no

hoping the Suns can keep winning without Gazza And hope the Crows keep winning Both these scenarios will give the drug cheats no chance at the 8
-
Was just thinking how % is used a lot as an indicator for our improvement We are 74% and play Geelong, Port at Port and Hawthorn over the next month Really hope we can keep things respectable

when was the last time we played Geelong at the MCG? Seems like an eternity
-
If we get pick 3 and 4 I hope we keep them and Roos and Taylor back themselves in to pick two special kids
-
Hes battled brilliantly since losing the support of Chip down back after round 3 He and the rest of the back line still come under a lot of pressure as our midfield is still the worst in the league They deserve credit for how well they stand up under the the avalanche of ball that opposition continue to send inside 50 Much like 2012 and 2013
-
I am calm after this loss I think its just the realization Roos is doing best he can with what he has... hes inherited a list thats been smashed by years of terrible recruitment and player development Bring on the draft and trade period
-
Does anyone think we will ever make the finals as long as we are playing home games in Darwin? We need to be playing Freo (and anyone else) at the MCG Im not saying tonights result would have been different, theyd have flogged us at the MCG too, but for a team that needs to win desperately after years of losing we need to give ourselves have the best chance to win. We cant be playing home games at neutral venues. Same with Alice Springs 2 games lost to the MCG and played in the Northern Territory

I comment on the games and footy The worst posters are the ones that attack other posters As admin you should know that, bit of a worry really
-
Still the worst team in the AFL
