Keep up the great work, Josh. Balic for 66 a steal, Lever was the big prize and we got him, and we shipped off a soft inconsistent forward for pick 31. Now I wanna see us package 29, 31 and 35 for something good.

We had to ship out Watts full salary as we couldn't afford it. So instead of paying 100% of it, we will pay a fraction. And therefore free up salary cap room. And Port wouldn't have done the deal if we didn't pay a part of it.

Probably had to to accommodate Levers salary, the imminent arrival of Balic and all the draftees. Its no big deal.

We now have 29, 31 and 35. Trade one for Schache, take the gamble and back ourselves in to develop him. Get talent in. Sure he may be Watts 2.0, but its worth the gamble.

HF - Salem - T McDonald - Petracca F - Hannan - Hogan - Garlett Move Salem forward to replace the only good thing Watts did, deliver the footy. We wont miss him at all.

Lever is twice the player of Watts, and five years younger. Theres no comparison.

Thats overs for a non competitive player who would have been delisted 4 years ago at any other club. We have done well. I love Goody.

T mac is a better forward than Watts. Has Watts ever kicked 5 goals in a game? T Mad did just a few games after shifting forward, and hes a career backman. Adios, Jackie boy.

You'd think Jack Viney was being traded out with all the meltdowns going on.

Macca is a great footy mind, and developer of talent. Now I am even more convinced Watts needs to go (though I'd have preferred he was traded years ago).

Rockliff is a good pickup, though his influence in games is negligible despite his gaudy numbers. Watts and Motlop give them two soft outsiders that wont help them improve. They arent getting near a premiership.

206 pages on Jack Watts lol If he was picked anywhere else besides pick 1, most people wouldn't care he was being traded out. Cases in point - Morton, Sylvia and Toumpas.

A huge talent going cheap. Why haven't we traded for him yet? I wonder if he can be developed as a key back.,.. playing alongside Lever. I think he has the skill set, as opposed to Weideman who couldn't play as a backman.
