WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - SAM WEIDEMAN
Looks to have a very nice kicking style and can hold a grab, let's hope he can do it in front of a big crowd round 2 against the bombers

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CLAYTON OLIVER
Interesting player, good choice at this stage, much prefer him to Parish, but it's what they do at the top level. Fingers crossed

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB – JAKE MELKSHAM
Toumpas 3 years 27 games, Jake Melksham 6 years 114 games. Melksham played those games for a relatively competitive Essendon team, where as, Toumpas has struggled to get a games for us where we have chose to play players like M Jones and Bail ahead of him. Look at the facts and they clearly show that Melksham is with more than Toumpas.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHRISTIAN PETRACCA
Just going to put out some positives for Petracca, extremely good junior basketballer, 92kg, high possession winner, can play half forward. This guy will be a gun I see him as a Dustin Martin, Oliver Wines, Scott Pendlebury. Surely we keep pick 2 for him, as St Kilda will take Mccartin.

The 2014 AFL National Draft
What is our priority in the draft next year? Clearly we have issues with forwards it seems Clark will not be with us. We will also have a problem down back with Frawley most likely moving to another team. We also have a huge ruck problem with Gawn and Jamar looking unlikely for some time if ever, with Clark out we really need a ruckman/forward (hale or roughead Petrie type. We also have a midfield problem and are still being dominated in clearances which is a huge issue and could be related to us using our 3rd choice ruckman. Priority for me is clearly take the best player available in the national draft, which will most likely be a midfielder, but we desperately need to replace Mitch Clark with a Ruckman/KPF. We will most likely have first choice in the draft for a midfielder, we need to learn from our mistakes. No skinny kids Must love the contest ie Oliver Wines vs Jimmy Toumpas Take the best player available over what we require....watts vs N Nat. Must be highly skilled (not uncoordinated) WITH A FOOTBALL BRAIN......no Jack Fitzpatrick John Butcher types Must not be slow (Trengove) Must be Alfa male type......Joel Selwood, Luke Hodge not Richard Tambling Must have body ready for the riggers football...not Mitch Clark Max Gawn Traditional hard nosed footballer, not flashy just gets the job done with week in week out, o Meara, Crouch, Selwood, Birchall Is there one out the that fits this description....?

2011 Draft
Even the thought of it excites me.

St. Kilda v Melbourne - 2006 Elimination Final
I think there are a lot of new faces who haven't played together which might take time to gel on field, but they might click straight from round 1. And if Jamar is not up and about we will rely on Spencer or Gawn who will get dominated by other experienced ruck men.

How good was McLean and Bate.....such a different game back then.

Mark Neeld's Spray on Morton.
It was good to see Neeld give Morton a spray. He chose to use his left foot and was lazy with the disposal. Members had a great view of it. Expect more from top 5 draft pick.
