Solid body, big left foot kick, goes in hard and has pace. Lots to like about him. -
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB – JAKE MELKSHAM
Alcho Dee replied to Theo's topic in Melbourne Demons
Toumpas 3 years 27 games, Jake Melksham 6 years 114 games. Melksham played those games for a relatively competitive Essendon team, where as, Toumpas has struggled to get a games for us where we have chose to play players like M Jones and Bail ahead of him. Look at the facts and they clearly show that Melksham is with more than Toumpas. -

Get around him boys, so much negativity on here -
It will be a sad day if Howe leaves...so many great memories of him taking hangers at the G, he always provided a highlight for the day.
-
Well at least he was available for selection in all 22 games, at the start of the year he would have been in many peoples best 22..
-
2015 was probably his best season, as viewed by many....but unfortunately he is sliding out of the best 22...
-
Special K just got up, he is great to watch. Entertainment guaranteed.
-
Ah yeah, considering he spends time around the club and has 1 on 1 interactions with the players, his opinion is valued.
-
Let me guess, put them straight on a heavy dose of anti-depressants.....
-
So what's your view on it and how have you responded when someone you know has depression.
-
I think you mean you don't care, I for one do. If you don't care about his opinion, then don't read it or ignore his posts
-
In my circles depression is not looked upon well, it's like playing the soft card or throwing in the towel. A typical response when depression is mentioned if talking about someone is "give him a cup of concrete" I think we have all been through hard times and anyone of us could give into it. Sometimes it can be seen as someone only caring about themselves instead of caring about others. Let's be honest, Clark going to Geelong is never going to sit well with the majority of Melbourne supporters.

Bernie Vince would be stiff not to get in the leadership group, would love to see him vice captain under Jonesy.
-
Great topic C&B, let's wait and see how he goes playing as a forward to our midfield, he's had Gibbs, Murphy, Judd, Simpson getting the ball down to him playing for Carlton. Don't think he will be kicking 40 goals a season for us if we only average low 40's for inside 50's
-
Rohan Bail for another smokey.
-
What do you think about Jamar, I haven't seen his name on anyone's list?Jones (captain) Dunn (vice) Dawes Grimes Vince Cross Smokeys, Jamar, M.Jones

Who is shaping as a surprise packet for Melbourne in 2015?
Alcho Dee replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
Based on that it would be nice to see Petracca or Brayshaw win the rising star award. -
Maybe Crossy feels like he owes the club something for giving him a contract, and he is repaying that by training his arse off and playing selfless football.
-
I disagree in a way, take for example a Daniel Cross or Shannon Byrnes, people who are given an opportunity by a club to further their careers, don't they owe the club something in return? Daniel Cross has given our club heaps in return for our investment, Byrnes unfortunately didn't have as much of an impact!
