  2. The bulldogs got stiffed Ward is a gun, Scully legacy will forever be the highest paid biggest underachieving worst AFL player ever, the name T Scully will for ever be that of the player who took the money and run and this will last forever in Football circles, was it really worth it Tom? Wow Scully collecting 39 possies against the bulldogs was lifetime ago.
  3. Last year was the first time in forever that Melbourne Landed a Big Fish come trade in M Clark. This year if we do go down the path of keeping our picks, how about looking at players from other clubs that are not yet big names Players that cant get a game at thier club for what ever reason or injurys have sidelined them or they just need a change of environment. Sydney have lead the pack at doing this and have picked up some players like J Kennedy, B Mcglynn, and R Shaw just to name a few. Here is a list of some I have thought of if you got any others please share WCE K Stevens Hard nosed midfielder WCE M Brown Big bodied backman/foward ADE C Knights Small Medium Foward ADE D Mackay Classy Midfielder has played more this year would of been a good coup last year SYD B Meredith Beautiful Kick , has had no luck with injuries NM B Mckinley has kicked almost 90 goals in 48 games
  4. Its a harsh reality. Did i say delist all them players um no. with the right coaching these things can be worked on. All the things i said wrong ? its just where the club is at th.e momment
  5. umm yeah a young player who plays with flair, has pace, sticks to his man not affraid to take the game on. love D Nicholson
  6. Shocking News, much maligned but has played well last 2 weeks, speedy recovery and look foward to seeing him playing next year in the red and blue, and the club will do the right thing by him Im sure
  7. do you agree? Rohan Bail can turn ball over with kicking C Bartam. Poor foot skills M Bate Lacks Pace. very inconsistent and one dimensional J Bennel Turns the ball over, does not go in hard enough has no inside game S Blease. Lots of upside, needs to work on inside game M Clark Shining Light cant do anymore L Cook Has not played senior footy, very light framed bad choice? A Davey Game has passed him by lost pace, fitness looks shot, marking is his weak point T Davis Haven’t seen enough L Dunn. Does not work hard enough, to small to play as FF doesn’t do enough as mid Forward, another inconsistent player J Fitzpatrick Have not seen enough J Frawley Can sometimes make the wrong decision, C Garland, Failures to do the basics , can turn the ball over M Gawn Have not seen enough B Green Game has passed him by lost yard of pace, Goal Kicking has gone off J Grimes Injuries have hurt him played ok this year. can still become great player J Gysberts Been injured this year see upside if he adds some bulk J Howe Goalkicking has let him down this year overall heaps of upside M Jamar, Does not take enough contested marks for ruckman, Goal kicking is trouble N Jetta, Does not have that exploise speed for F pocket. N Jones, Career best form cant do anymore L Jurrah Off field issues hurt him, lacks defensive pressure J Mcdonald can turn the ball over, like his hardness but S Martin Goalkicking is his problem T Mcdonald Kicking is bit shaky but has held up really well in defense J Mckenzie No pace, bad foot skills, very hard at stoppages B Moloney Bad Year lacking pace and spread C Morton Terrible skills under pressure makes wrong decision way to often turns the ball over R Petterd His he working hard enough has all the skills? J Rivers, Battler, this year can hold his head high J Sellar, Does he want to be AFL player? J Spencer uncoordinated style, can take big mark, could mature late. J Strauss, Broken leg hurt him have not seen enough C Sylvia, Could be the most talented on our list, does he work hard enough? R Taggert Have not seen enough L Tapscott, Pace is worry, hard at the ball, must work on getting to more contests. J Trengove, seems to have gone backwards, fumbles the ball an when he does get it butchers it by foot, a big worry J Tyann Have not seen enough J Watts Looks comfortable down back, hardness and work rate still issue
  8. haha you guys a brutal, in hindsight was not the smartest thread. Just thinking of ways to get Sheedy and GWS back
  9. Hey I am just curious to what every one thinks of letting J Viney go to GWS If in fact they nominate him at pick 1 or 2. I am really sick of clubs trying to walk all over us example K Sheedy. This scenario would stick it right up GWS and the AFL. Just say Todd tells Jack to play at GWS for 2013 and only sign a 1 year contract then he can return to Melbourne in 2014 and in fact tell GWS all year long he is happy at the club maybe give them a bit of Dejavu (Scully) see how they like it. It's a long shot I know but just posing the question. PS My first post look foward to chatting to all you Demon fans.
  10. Martin would be great pickup. he will be star A Grader. but what to give up, To get something good you must give something good, so Bate, Morton, Dunn will not cut it, possibly pick 4 but Sheedy hates us and will make things 10 times harder for us so doubt we will deal with GWS.
