Some people forget that there really is no such thing as the Casey team as one usually thinks of it. There are three groups.... The AFL listed players.... The regular Casey listed players... the fringe Casey players. Rarely do these three groups train together, they do completely different pre seasons and of course groups 2 and 3 have fulltime jobs or education commitments. As the AFL player numbers decrease the more one gets from group 3. It was a wonderful credit to Freeman ( a group 3 player) to be named amongst the best.

For the third week in a row Asia misses out on watching the Dees. Instead we have the big ones.

yep... the scenes of them holding down the commentary tent were classic as was their commentary under what were very difficult conditions. I increasingly find myself turning the channel7 AFL commentary down

Bit warmer where I'm watching from. Imagine if the game was at Casey. The Box Hill area is not that windy except the ground is exposed on the Middleborough road side. I am starting to favour 16 a side at VFL level for a year or so. May open it up and improve the talent base. The games have become very scrappy in recent years. Jeffy almost unseen so far.

The Melksham "non block"springs to mind as something that should have been questioned but as usual nothing. A bit like hanging Oliver out to dry last year when the umpires continuously called him for throwing the ball. In so many areas we are irrelevant. Where for example is our view on the priority picks. As the team most recently denied such a pick our public stance is very relevant...but nothing.

no...it makes them a lot easier to hand out and we are the losers. No way would they give round 1 picks but top of round 2... just watch this space

Looks like we are all being softened up for the priority pick that is not a priority pick. Given the MFC has no round 1 pick this is extremely important to us

you may be right. It's just that after the disappointments of 2016 and 2017 so much more was expected of this season. To not beat a side etc etc...you know what I mean
