I don't know the poster, but I remember when I was young that I got accused of a similar style, I shall call it, in a race once , that I didn't have a heart or friends because I didn't have a father.I found that deeply offensive,and I've never forgotten it for about sixty five years or more. I hope that poster remembers how much words can hurt.

And to that, where is the point of comparison for ten to twenty non pay decisions in normal course of a game, then inexplicably at the last two minute point a decision is made that alters all the preamble and the leader?

Firstly there is nothing wrong with candour, which is the word I would use. Second I don't think either of Max or May in a general way look for free kicks as both know over several years that Umpires don't like them. Thirdly, I don't think the umpires in general have any consistency in their interpretation and resort to crowd please and instruction please which was on display with head protection this week.

Well if the bloody maggots put some consistency into their rule interpretations, we wouldn't have the best full back not knowing whether to be in front, get pushed in the back or stay behind and contest, ie knock the ball away , and be called for interference. So don't tell anyone you're a better judge of the umpires rules because they don't bloody know either. And of course the same blind rule interpretation applies to MAX

Carlton must have a team made of Mids if they have all of these blokes out injured and to return to their team. Or are some on here saying with a full compliment they have players around the ball who are so much better than ours. I guess you can only have so many in their case playing at the same time.
