Looking at that game only, it seemed to me that we were made to hold the mark longer, otherwise the signal was not in control, play on. The commentators know that they are scum, they know what they are doing, and i think it's tied to a couple of issues. They know that MFC Football Club want a Home Premiership. What that means come the end of September, they will all have to come and bow down to the MFC. I don't want to put the spotlight on anyone, but i think we have playing, some individuals that are not " in their mould type" sport people. I guess you can figure out who i am talking about, and their show did the trick.

Well, where do i start and end. This game was spoiled by the very inconsistent efforts by what the industry calls umpires. In this game they weren't umpires. They very rarely paid marks. They very rarely paid interference to marks. We were not beaten by a good Team. We were nearly beaten by an extremely fortunate team and some, as usual bewildering decisions. The difference between last week and this week was rank. To an observer you can tell when the smaller players aren't going to be protected. Their(umpires) fine art now is to penalize but make it so its not that obvious and by three qtr time they had nearly run out of tricks. The one i did notice though was how the protected one behind the person on the mark definitely only applies to us. Just so sick of such poor performances, both on and off in the media. They don't even bother hiding it anymore. Sad when there is plenty of younger blokes with footy commentating nous, they still manage to regurgitate old hacks, who should be doing Bingo calling.
