Just a pity the Media are more concerned with Carlton not having Curnow next year, instead of Essendon's and Footscray's woes, along with two present coaches still in some hot water over well known stuff, as well as all Clubs in strife for possibly sending concussed players back on the ground. Other than that it has been a great season ( i think not)

AFLPA have just decided to enter the conversation just now, have they. Collectively they have not been able to solve any players grievances for six plus years and failed miserably at their big test before then. Did someone rattle their chain? Who hates Simon more than Kero? Maybe she just doesn't like that the current Richmond Coach is a distinguished Melbourne player who has shunned her already?

In my OP i think there has been some pretty highbrow meetings taken place in the last week, between The AFL, the MFC and of course The Media Executives , not the S kickers. The result of which it seems to me that The S kickers have been told in no uncertain terms to Drop Off and make it a clean break. Let's see.

I think both of you, Dr G and Wayne, have hit the issues on the head and all in all i don't think there is a lot of difference between the two of you.. All full of great and fair comments. I would just add without the Media input surely this could have surfaced and been resolved, a lot more inhouse, but don't ask me how other than a lot less confusion and purported entitlement by them.

Yep, Give Lyon a little bit (lot) more credit than the 'intellectually absent" he has to work with. That said i'm sort of pleased about the dissatisfaction of how and why we are out of the eight. Loss of players. Draw from hell. Fair bit of quid pro quo. etc

Love to get Razor for our last game of the year. Great to see him running around. Wouldn't hurt the Club to ask the AFL on Brownlow Medal night to have a Kossie Highlights Reel drawn up and played to show how good the bond is between all our players.
