Ever since WW2, there was nothing worse than a South Aussie telling a West Aussie he wasn't going to make it at VFL/AFL!!

If we're talking about Baker Im afraid i do not agree with some posters here. I saw bits of an early year or so of DeGoey. Not sure of his pace somewhat but don't forget we just got rid of coaches that have not been developing players under them. Give this boy a year or so and lets see what happens. I know of some good people/new coaches that bring their sides from bottom to flags and i know the elation and the down sides.

From what i have seen i think he is creative and can play.The bloke who kicks funny as well as Ablett would have given this bloke limited opportunities.

Hope the AFL haven't told him to shorten his run up and said something like they will call play on so he's a bit "browned off" thinking it might upset his rhythm and affect his goal kicking...
