Petracca for McKay?

Brad Greens letter to members
It has a distinct 1968 vibe , four years after a flag, Premiership heroes still on tve list, poor coaching, poor administation stretching into tge abyss. Drastic long term action required.

Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
Are either of them in the top 100 in the comp currently. Oliver has lost the spring in his step and been by passed by younger fitter players. Trac has lost the passion one has when young and becoming great. I dont blame him after the ugly injury he suffered. The priblem we have is their contracts.

Time to go Goody?
Yes, Goody is a decent caring guy. Yesterday he talked ruthlesseness but it foesnt sound right coming from him. The Blight scenario is appropriate

Agree totally Macca. Some maybe many are treating it as an occupation, just do enough to hold your job and get paid.

Time to go Goody?
Its sad but in his first game back Trac avoided hard contact he would have given ir absorbed previously. It was there for all to see. I am not criticizing him for it but means he is now held to a different stsndard.

After the Great Choke
Long time ago but david parkin would make the brilliant but knock about Carlton players of the early 80s write essays on upcoming games and losses. The beauty of it was he assessed them and as a result got individual thoughts on games. It was harsh but got to tge truth of how players felt sbout themselves , teamsates and opponents in a footy sense. Not this garbage collective ownership.

Time to go Goody?
If we dont have a oick because of Xavij That was the one for me. Max summoned all his leadership and skill to put it in Olivers hands, held high. It was either exhaustion, slow reflexes or the fix was in.

After the Great Choke
Players need to be isolated for their errors. Some i saw. The player who gave the free that resulted in the fifty metre- drop him. That was the one where it completely unravelked JVR not holding a mark 30 odd out Oliver letting a perfect centre tap go through his outstretched arms. The final debacle of not picking up the best player in comp. Goodwin not recognising Saints and tgeir fans sniffed the breeze at 30 points down. Nightmate thought. Lyon said at 3/4 these blokes are ready to crack, tgey are not fit

POSTGAME: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
Is it possible we have never practiced a 666 infringement / free kick. All said and done, thats all it was. Have a man on the mark and defend either by man on man or tight zone.

Masterstroke. As a young hospitality student we watched episodes of Faullty Towers to learn how not to serve customers.

Goodwin after match, what happened at tge end is part of becoming a ruthless club. Now that is where a strong person needs to step in and say, Simon, what in the hell has the last play of the day got to do with ruthless. It was an Under 11 situation of , Man up guys, everyone get a man.- POSTGAME: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
Anyone wish to support the time wasted on soccer ball training that could have been spent on more last 3 minutes of a game scenarios?- PREGAME: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
DJ I heard a fascinating discussion with Nathan Buckley last night. He was talking about a type of player like Kolt. He said the very best have 5 or 6 ways to get the ball and get out of a pack. A good player has less and then there are players, as example Kolt who at this stage has only one way. Charge at ball , get it and tgen try and get out through the pack. He is a passionate player who needs to learn a lit of tricks to perform at a high level. But do we have the coaches?- Happy Birthday David Schwarz
Yeah a star of a bloke. Please let him loose teaching JVR - Time to go Goody?
