  1. I remember Wayne Gordon, came from Reservoir way. Was also a talented basketball player as a junior
  2. After watching yesterday two new players with pace has us back in the hunt, especially someone who can work with Max.
  3. Buckley will make him and all our midfield better players. Heard him saying a top tier midfielder might have five moves to get out of a pack. A battler just one and a very good player somewhere in the middle. I found that fascinating as in my youth we were only taught the old fashioned sidestep or change straight ahead into the pack. Its about teaching skills from people with the skillset.
  4. Hes getting there. Yes, please stay.
  5. It seems obvious to me more individual coaching is required. Find the repeat skill errors and work hard on those and less on areas they are competent in.
  6. I think Kolts going to be a good solid player but wouldnt reward him yet. Windsor out. We only need replace the sub.
  7. Viney is done as a top liner Salem - Kangas? McVee can go , can be replaced Sparrow- can go, can be replacec Take offers on Lever snd May Accept Oliver and Petracca are probably just B plus players from here.
  8. Yes, almost John Northey at times. Judt add Robbie and you have it.
  9. Good team effort. Salem time to trade Sparrow time to trade McVee trade if wishes Adams better for run.
  10. Charlie has been a good servant of the club and the clubs been good to him. Time to trade or find a new approach to the team output.
  11. He has a new opportunity with a new coach. It was a strange draft pick but i hope he makes it.
  12. No more South Australians
  13. Totally agree. He did what i never thought would happen in my lifetime. Hats off to Goody and thanks
  14. Some supporters like the one arguing with you fail to realise what made AFL- VFL footy so popular, it was a chance for people of all status to come together and have an opinion on this or that player, how the team was going, if the coach is any good, when players time is up. You didnt have to be an ex champion to have an opinion. Its tough on modern players with online criticism on sites like these but remember they are paid professionals.
  15. Good for you. A wins a win.
  16. Beer coloured glasses Ghost?
  17. I think id sacrifice one assistant coach for a few part time expert coaches in their positions , as in Hawkins , goalkicking,
  18. I think they will slot hom at full back and it will work
  19. I couldnt get their today. To those who did. Could culley play a brayshaw type role?
  20. I want a win and i want to see Jai play well and add to our midfield going forward. What i dont want is for Goody to say the boys responded to last weeks loss, all the while not having done any work on that scenario happening again except on the whiteboard or replay.
  21. Im with you and I didnt come down in the last shower for nufing.
  22. Brodie is considerably taller than Jake Ollie and marks above his head whereas Jake generally outmanouvers his opponent. Different types of players.
  23. We digress. I wouldnt want my grandchildren playing professional AFL.
  24. Sounds like you want to control conversations. I was just pointing out professional sport is not the dream it used to be for some athletes. So apologies for me exanding on your comment, i wont be engaging or bothering with you again .
