  1. Yeah, Bailey Smith. Culture killer
  2. Interesting and exciting times however I’ve never had less feel for selection changes than I can remember. Is it Campbell for AJ and Langford into the side. Change the dub? Maybe Sharp?
  3. Yes. Love Langdon but that was a mistake. I would have gone Windsor
  4. Yeah. It was perfectly set up, Gawn dropped the ball at Langdon feet who was running at pace. Bit of bad luck I guess.
  5. Windsor for Langdon in the last centre bounce.
  6. Wet weather footy. As has always been the case with wet weather footy even for us battlers, play to instructions, use footy instincts and have a real go. You will earn respect of teammates coaches and supporters.
  7. I have a small claim to fame here. His grandad was a rep and I was a client. We got talking that Jeff was wanting to come back to Victoria. The conversation came to Ricky Nixon who I played basketball with. His grandad asked if I thought he was a good agent. I said, yes but know a better one. Ron Joseph. I contacted Ron and he soon took over as his agent and Ron organised the deal to Melb. His grandfather, Gary is a lovely bloke as I am sure Geoff is. Really think we have a beauty with the grandson. Geoff was unbeatable on his day.
  8. Quite a few I wished returned.
  9. Big call and can’t really argue as he is super skilled and has the flag. Jeff Farmer in conversation though.
  10. If you only comment here occasionally usually get jumped on.
  11. How does it work dazzle. We just cave in?
  12. If Kossie wants home we deal with both WA Clubs and look at everyone st Freo and not just Jackson. Nice bitten twice shy with him.
  13. If Billing’s can get someone to sort his kicking he has as much improvement to give as anyone on the list. Johnson is undersized but has heart. Lindsay cameo on boundary all class. Langford will make progress this year. Turner is going to be a handful with Fritta, Van Rooyen and Kossie firing. Lot to like, few negatives but I’m staying positive.
  14. Interested you have Billing’s ahead of Langdon on wing. I know it’s only semantics. Are you thinking Billing’s for a good season
  15. Yes, Robbie then daylight for me too. And how about when he played for Victoria. We all knew he would be a star amongst stars. Only saw he slightly beaten once, a much younger Blue in Peter Motley just got him at Princess Park one day.
  16. Anything he brings will be a bonus now. I hope he can start afresh this year and be back up for injuries.
  17. Gee if we don’t get him then it will test my 60 plus year loyalty. I would at least have to go and watch his first few games. If we get him and he makes it then I will be nearly as happy as when we won in 21. Oh to see that run and carry down the wing again.
  18. I like the look of the squads, well done, and will only add that the team could be even better if a few Casey boys really step up , earn a spot with a hot run of form. No one in particular in mind. Maybe hot form from Jefferson or Seston ? Let’s see.
  19. Anything from Tom will now be a bonus to our list.
  20. Agree that he can still make it. Am I reading it that he missed his final junior year due to Covid. If so that makes it even harder to judge.
  21. Something a little unsettling about this article.
  22. I think all of us who played at any level always had one very talented kid at the club who was a bit wild off the field, didn’t often go to training and got by on natural ability. It works for a while and has for Oliver up until the past few years. He was a Melbourne great, always will be but I question whether he can dominate like he used to, he will still get possessions but needs a lot of work on kicking and hard balling as he ages. Let’s hope another club step forward with a decent offer
  23. No loss based on past few years.
  24. Gees, good luck with your projects Geelong Jack Martin- injury prone, third club Bailey Smith ego and self obsessed Oliver - ongoing issues not resolved.
