That’s what happened to me last night. I was told to find somewhere else to sit. Really, really helpful. They couldn’t have given a toss.

Long Suffering ~ I had a similar experience but obviously when young kids are affected it is 1000 times worse. I had the loudest, foul mouthed, revolting family of Pies supporters sitting behind me and in front of me. I got thumped in the back of the head every time this big oaf jumped out of his seat. The idiots in front of me kept standing up and spilling beer everywhere. I came home smelling like a brewery. I spoke to the security man in my area who looked about 14 and he suggested I find somewhere else to sit as there was not much he could do. In the end I left my seat and went and sat downstairs and watched the rest of the game on the screen. This brain dead [censored] was cheering Maynard like he was some sort of God and chanting ‘Collingwood’ as poor Gus was lying unresponsive on the ground. He thought it was a hoot that we had lost a player so early in the match. After last night I made a pact with myself that I am never going to a match that involves Collingwood. This isn’t the first time I’ve had an unpleasant encounter at a Pies match but I have decided never again.

You were lucky. I had the supporters from hell sitting behind me. Half way through the 3rd quarter I couldn’t stand it any longer. I got up and went and sat downstairs and watched the rest of the game in the bar by myself.

If only I could be so lucky. My husband has got chummy with the morons sitting behind me. My radio has just died so I can’t even block their noise out. No comforting for me. 😩

Just sat down and got the anti social phone number on speed dial. The Pies supporters around me are already annoying me.

To stay calm I have not looked at one weather forecast. However I just got home from work to find my kitchen sink swarming in ants. Definite rain to follow. The ants are never wrong.

I feel nauseated, excited, scared but hopeful. I will be there tonight with my Pie supporting husband who is convinced the Pies will thrash us. I just hope the weather Gods are kind and we are accurate in front of goal and a real bonus is if we can keep our feet if the surface is a bit slippery. I also wish nothing but pain and suffering for Cox, Maynard and Ginnivan.

I literally said the same thing to my husband about those three. I just couldn’t cope seeing Howe with a premiership medal around his neck.🤮🤮

Yes I copped plenty of gloating from someone I employ. After about half an hour of it, I told her that if she didn’t put a sock in it, her job would be advertised on Seek.com this morning. I didn’t hear another peep from her.

Daisy has totally lost me. When Rivers was slammed into the ground she stated that ‘he contributed’. I would like her explanation on how that was so? I would suggest she needs to get her eyes checked especially after that call of the ball being touched.

I am so angry I have just emailed the AFL to tell them how incompetent their umpires are and how they are ruining our once great game. It will probably end up in the trash file but it made me feel better to tell them exactly what I thought.

I’m dreading the possibility of a Melbourne vs Pies GF. My poor husband told friends that he would secretly be barracking for the Dees if this happens - just to keep the peace ✌️

Agree. My son is a North supporter and for years I took him to Melb vs North games. I can remember losing time after time so I also have no sympathy for them. I do agree they drew the short straw re JHF and understand their angst about it.

Hi Guys, Great podcast. Highlight of my week during my long drives into the city. I am also curious as to why Joel Smith has not been considered as a regular inclusion? I think he has been great, is obviously fit and injury free at the moment. Is he destined to be the sub for the rest of the season?
