Tbh Im crossing my fingers they don’t rush him back. Let him miss 6 weeks or so and come back strong. We need him fully fit in September not struggling.

I think he’s finally found his feet up there and will become a true star of the game. Not sure he’d put that at risk to change everything again.

I still feel like if he’d taken it to the members we could have made it happen. He wouldnt have had to do it on his own. Anyway, that opportunity ( and it’s the best we’ve ever had) has come and gone. no use crying over it all these years later.

Everyone around him would be telling him he did nothing wrong....and they won a flag and everyone's feeling great down there. So it may not be on the surface right now. But there would be a little voice in his head where he knows what he did and those little voices tend to never go away do they.

Intersting. On the positive it helps get us funding… and that’s a real and brilliant outcome. But, if I’m reading you right, the thorn in the roses of this idea is that CFC magically gets the go ahead to build a stadium for their woman’s team at Godches? This when we couldn’t get [censored] done there. As good as I think Caulfield will be I may have to stab myself every time I pass Goschs if it becomes a cfc stadium. If it was a neutral venue ie The home of woman’s footy and we were a founding member, that’s one thing. But what’s the likliehood of that.

Sadly I think this may be the truth. Whatever it is...I hope we as a club prioritise his health over short term playing goals. Clarry back and healthy in 2025 would still be a good outcome.

A year for feasibility? sheesh.

I’m a total nuff on this kind of thing. But what exactly does an announcement about the go ahead for a feasibility study mean in real terms? explain it like i’m 5. Or, explain it in relational terms. i’m dating someone new. …. where am I at in this relationship?

it’s quite glaring isn’t it. I can’t help but think it’s going to invite shoulder and or neck injuries at AFL level …and his time there may be limited. I’m guessing at that and hope i’m wrong but It’s hard to get excited about him for this reason.
