  1. We don’t have the role of our half forwards right. How many times in that game did we go long to Gawn and they won the ball back at ground level? It was like watching the Essendon game all over again. At the fall of the ball we repeatedly get beaten. Add that to our clearance issues and we are asking way too much of our back 6.
  2. He made 2 absolutely horrible errors.
  3. By my reckoning our midfield has been beaten 70% of game time this year. Out hunted, our worked.
  4. Kenny getting them up for a contract year. It’s like clockwork.
  5. You’re right. It’s not the defences fault. It’s pure midfield and clearances.
  6. Are you joking? He’s the greatest ruckmen in the game, and is as hard as nails. You should be ashamed of saying this.
  7. Our midfield just played the worst quarter of football they’ve played in 7 years.
  8. Great quarter from Fritta. Him and May have been huge.
  9. Game day thread in meltdown already. You’d think this team deserves a bit of credit, no?
  10. Trac booing his teams mates and having a laugh about the lack of crowd noise when they ran through the banner. Hilarious.
  11. This ranks right up there with ‘Is more effective than the cloaca method’ as my favourite random sentence of the week on Demonland.
  12. Gees Geelong’s midfield looks really ordinary this weekend against the Dockers. Wouldn’t be surprised at all…
  13. He’s playing on Oliver and Petracca tomorrow. I doubt anyone sleeps well under those conditions.
  14. I thought the same thing. With McVee, Salem and Bowey back Gus has to go into the middle - probably to play Sparrows role this week.
  15. Interesting emergencies too. Club must be happy with Woewodin.
  16. Salo with the blindside!
  17. An annual barometer for who'll finish 11th. The battle for pick 8! I'm already excited.
  18. No, diagonally across. Our side is purely for football lovers. No gimmicks required.
  19. I’ll be the guy going ballistic. Can’t miss me.
  20. ‘This is my cell mate Darren. He’s easily spooked, and doesn’t like eye contact’
  21. Don’t write him off yet. A lot of this season still to go, he will get a chance, and I’d back him in to take it.
  22. That’s literally where I have my reserved seat membership for the year. It’s half forward flank. The back part of the bay is undercover - which is why I got those seats for my folks and I. See image for reference. If undercover you’ve got a tv above you replaying the screen, but you’re still close enough to clearly tell Ray Chamberlain to stop show boating and just get on with it.
  23. That was brilliant. Watching people from the stolen generation speak about their experience is always heartbreaking. Good to see Wheels too. He always gave his all for the club, and he looks to still be doing it. Good on him.
  24. Goody spoke VERY positively about Harry as a forward tonight on 360. I think the club knows where they want him - forward of the ball.
