Runs a lot, not convinced by him yet but he is improving.

Yep, they only like to go one way. Pendlebury named it last year but remained one of the offenders.
  4. I don't think Roy does either, seems to be writing for the sake of it here.
  5. Adelaide's stunt in wearing the SA state jumper first game against Port takes the cake. Being allowed to wear it, well Port are not happy and nor should they be. Strange way of doing business over there....
  6. I think they were happy to lose Silvia, particularly when Vince became available. I liked Rivers as a player and reckon he gave us good service but he has struggled with the Cats. He may not have made it to the GF team on form if they got through.
  7. Agree with 'Machsy' above. He really gave them nothing last season and struggled with their game plan. Was poor in the finals. So far we have lost no one to free agency that we didn't want to lose. I hope Frawley stays because he is one we need to keep, we can't afford to lose good players just when they get a bit of experience behind them.
  8. You mustn't have watched the finals series 'mjt'.
  9. Not sure he would want to live in Adelaide, maybe he should have a talk to Tippett. Reckon Adelaide will go backwards this year anyway so if he is looking at finals he's looking in the wrong place.
  10. How many decent players have left Melbourne in recent years??? none, we didn't have any. Rucci has no idea about pretty much anything including his beloved Port, the club he has continually knifed.
  11. Pity they lost the documents.

I know 'Boss' but it's that he doesn't think that gets me. I need to get in on the meditation stuff.

He has been 'old dee' it's just that he keeps going on about us giving up Kelly (pick 2) who he has never seen play for Tyson who I doubt he has ever seen play and Salem who he has never seen play. He reckons we have given up a Brownlow medalist in Kelly where I think we have traded one in, Tyson.

Vince is street ahead of Silvia, and as for Cross and Rodan...Cross is a good footballer, Rodan has never been that. A good guy yes but not a good player.

Yep, Barrett and Denham will be eating humble pie on this.
  18. Thought it was an interesting spin. Be interesting to see how they interpret the infraction notices when they come.
  19. Sorry, don't really remember when we have won NAB games but only over the last few years that one looked ok. Win or lose I think we've looked pretty average really.
  20. Renmark was the NAB challenge game against Port. There was a one camera coverage on their site from memory. Both sides had a lot of their younger players in and we looked better in that game than probably anything else for the season.
  21. In the preseason comp I'm not so interested in wins as the way they go about it. Last year the only game in preseason that looked any good to me was the one in Renmark and it was mainly our 2nd stringers. The other games, despite some wins didn't look so good in the way they went about it and the players coming through. Of course in the season proper it's all about wins, anything to the contrary is just spin.
  22. Win a few premierships and it should flow through from around 5 to 10 years after the first.
  23. I reckon 'Chip' has done his bit for the club and I hope he keeps on doing it for years to come. I also reckon he and many of his mates have been let down badly by the club. Even the new CEO acknowledged that the environment needed to change to allow the players their best opportunity to develop. From the times I've been at training this year he seems to be doing his bit, working hard on the ground as a leader should. He's not only one of the best players at the club he is well liked by the playing group and anyone that's had anything to do with him. Lets hope the support from the other side of the fence is as we hope it is. The on-field leaders can't do it if the whole club isn't pulling it's weight.
  24. You are reading far to much into this 'master' and our position is different to Ports. It wasn't long ago they won a flag, they were stable with one coach (Williams) at the helm. Admittedly most of their players weren't around for the flag but some of their senior players were. The problem was their new coach (Primus) wanted to move the premiership players on and this created instability. Coach gone, problem fixed. Well of course there were the off ground issues as well. I just don't see our situation as being anything like Ports. We hadn't won a flag under Danners and we've had 2 poor appointments since in Bailey and Neeld along with a disaster in CS back for a 2nd go.
