Changes vs West Coast
I original thought Pruess would come in to stretch there defense especially with no Barass but after he wasn't included I've come to the thought we might play a bit of the Port game plan that worked so well against WCE a few weeks ago. T.Smith to go to McGovern and tag him. TMac to play deep on Schofild which on paper is in Melb favor. The key is not to bomb the ball long down the line so McGovern cant intercept mark it and start there scoring chains. Port kicked dirty/scrappy ball forward and won the ground balls inside 50. Thats where Hunt, ANB, Lockart, Trac and Baker comes into it. Preuss is stuffed once the ball hits the ground hence he hasn't been picked.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - JAY LOCKHART
That my understanding. We left a spot open at the draft to be flexible and be able to use a selection at the mid seaosn draft if required. With Nieta injury it opened up another spot. We decided to use one now and it still leaves the option of one free to use mid season if required.

Illicit Drug Use in AFL
Collingwood players never tested positive for illicit drugs on game day. They tested positive to performance enhancing drugs. Which they claimed was within the illicit drugs they had took on the weekend.

Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ
My understanding the proposal from day one has been an oval in yarra park and admin building over the train lines/area outside of yarra park. The Oval would be bringing back the old east Melbourne cricket oval from years gone by

- Farewell Jesse Hogan
Freo put their foot down last year with GCS and demanded pick 2 for Weller or there was no deal. GCS eventually folded and paid pick 2. Melb does the same. If Jessie wants to go, fine but we get what we want. Picks 4 & 5 or no deal. Dont except 9 & 10- Andrew Gaff
TYSON - DUNSTAN - GALLUCCI- Farewell Jesse Hogan
Now thats click bait. Its an article about a article with no by line to it. If a reporter had that info they would put there name to it with an exclusive tag- Farewell Jesse Hogan
do you mean chasing and harrasing and pressure like this at 4.45???? http://www.afl.com.au/match-centre/2018/20/melb-v-gcfc- Andrew Gaff
I dont doubt your info @ProDee but if Gaff has turned us down because of the role I find that extremely unlikely. He either wants to come to the club because of our current position, MCG, Dees suppport etc etc and play his role or he wants to come to Vic to the highest bidder. ie north. Jake telling you hes not coming to the Dess because of the role is IMO another way of saying the moneys not enough and keeping the perception up that any possible move will not be all about money.- Andrew Gaff
2nd hand mail from somebody at Gaffs management company......Hes coming to Dees. Look thats what i heard a few weeks ago and it wouldn't surprise me at all if he comes to MFC. Its all played out very much the same as the Lever scenario did, if you ask me.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
Players who kicked more than 3 goals and had more than 20 possessions? Hogan 5 times No other player had more than 3- Andrew Gaff
Gaff will be a dee is what I was told today from somebody that should know.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
Weideman would also be a great option as CHB. Played U18 games there and showed he could play the position.- Sam Weideman
- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Correct. We have hit the first round hard over the last 4 years. An A grade defender wants to come to us and some are arguing the fact that we may have paid a little over. just get the the deal done. 2012 - Hogan, Viney* 2013 - Salem, Tyson* 2014 Trac, Brayshaw, Lever* 2015 - Oliver, Weed Thats 9 first round draft picks into the club from the last 4 drafts. Not using one in this year or next draft isn't going to make a huge difference with what we have done and planned for the last 3-4 years.- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Keeping next years 1st round would have been ideal but its not that bad a deal. Its basically Lever for pick 10 and around pick 40 when you add/include the points value and the other pics included. Out - 10, 15ish (2018 1st) & 60ish (2018 4th) In - Lever, 35 & 50ish (2018 3rd). Net result out - 10 and pick 40ish (pick 6 equivalent points) In - lever WIN- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
take this however you want https://twitter.com/rickynixontoot Lever - Melb makes offer Crows counter with similar - manager told Melb Pies, Dogs he was staying Dad moving over then BANG 900 Demons gone- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Dees have eye on Lever as they head to draft http://www.afl.com.au/news/2017-08-15/dees-with-eye-on-lever-as-they-head-to-draft- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Thats the deal that I could see getting it done but Id go for the 2018 2nd rounder back. Next year draft a lot stronger than this year. The 2nd round this year not going to be much quality available.- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
With what i hear this draft is very shallow but next year is looking a lot deeper. @ChaserJ might be able to confirm. Id be pushing for 2017 draft picks and try and keep 2018 out if it.- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Gunston - Trade Gibson - Trade Hale - Trade Lake - Trade McEvoy - Trade Mitchell - Trade Omeara - Trade Not sure any of these trades where guys looking for a 2nd chance. Maybe Lake and you could say Hale but not sure guys traded for a first round pick is looking for a 2nd chance. - Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ
