  1. As I understand it, it takes time for a (the) virus to infect a host sufficiently to show up in a test, therefore the quarantine. You don't cough on someone and they are instantly positive; it's got to infect the host, grow in the host and then spread to the throat, lung, nasal regions to be able to be captured on a swab.
  2. Trac Oliver Gawn Rivers Salem May
  3. To make this easy, ask your heathen (non mfc supporting) friends who they would give up a top 10 pick for and you'll find the answer is predominantly Gawn, with interest for Oliver and May. That's it, and note top 10 doesn't readily equate to elite. Ask who they would give up 2 first round picks for (with possible sweeteners) and the only answer is Gawn, and not always. That's where our list is at. These heathen fans look at our list for potential bargains like 2nd round for Trac; but not players.
  4. Reality check Two 18 year olds, a mid who is still playing as a forward (hasn't made it as a mid yet), and a backman with one good year as a forward; does not make a compelling forward line. Then throw in another key forward who hasn't arrived at the AFL level yet (and the improvement required to do so, doesn't match the normal trajectory's) plus an injury prone medium size forward; and I'm not sure if it's that exciting (although your statement may still be correct which is more of an indictment of the forwards since Robbo, Neitz, Davey and co days. Still I have fond memories of Robbo, Green, Yze, Jurrah, Wonna, etc as well. In reality, if our forward line is to be dangerous then we need to be getting consistent AFL level output from at least 4 of them. Which I expect would come from: TMac Jones Fritsch Trac (though he should be a midfielder by now) This leaves two spots for Hunt, Melk's, Hannan, Petty, Weids, Jackson, Petty. I'd like to see though Melks TMac Dunkley Jones Trac Fritsch With Picket moving through for Jones and Melks should they get exposed for lack of pressure, noting he can't be expected to impact a full game and particularily week after week.
  5. Another thought, is that rookies only need to be put on for a 1 year minimum. So using late round picks this year on upgrades also gives us a chance to bring in players (from a supposed weak draft) as rookies this year without committing to them for two years. Also are the upgrades just a one year extension or do they then get the normal 2 year minimum of someone selected in the draft?
