Not sure the fighters could come up quickly enough after fights aswell. Totally agree about the boxing though. Problems throughout with corrupt officials and bogus bouts have destroyed the sport.

Tanking is what Paul Roos did during the NAB cup a few year ago. Told Mcveigh or whoever it was from the bench to go forward but "Make sure you don't kick a goal." I thought after the Richmond game that it appeared the players and FD were on different pages with a defiance in the playing group. No matter what moves were made in the coaches box , the players seemed determined to win that game and so sabotage our chances for the priority pick.

Reminds me when Jack Elliot declared they were gonna "stick it up the bombers" the next week cause they were salary cap cheats. "If" Cloke leaves the Pies it will be to whichever Melbourne based club waves the most cash IMO.

Don't agree with your signature there C & B. Rd 18 we found ourselves on top by default. We didn't beat anyone of note to get there as other clubs beat those above us. Then we lost the last 4 games including 1 against the bottom side Carlton and were eleminated in the 1st final.

I agree with the above but get the jitters when someone comes out making huge statements for races that are decided in hundreths of a second. Only takes a minor thing to be off and your gone. I'm hoping Pearson can get the job done and know shes been posting the quickest times for a couple of years but again, theres a bunch of hurdles between her and Gold. Anything can happen.
