33 degrees, headed in the 4th quarter and facing the normai %hitstoem reception of Deliverance town. One of the better wins in recent times by the Melbourne Football Club.
-
Yes it does

Maybe so but what was Ward thinking? And, more broadly, I’m looking at GWS, trying to reconcile how there’s no team in Tassie.
-
And hasn’t he got a relevant prior? Few years back

Watching GWS v Saints. Leon Cameron is a genius. Takes a fair bit of skill to take a Maserati and convert it into a Lada. Even Neeld would have struggled with that.

GAMEDAY: Practice Match vs Bulldogs
Return to Glory replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Have to agree with this. Tomlinson should have been dropped (more than he was) last year. Jetta is now done and Tom McDonald is no longer good enough. If we think Laurie may be the answer at HB, play him in the practice match instead of Jetta. If we want to see where Petty is at, play him ahead of Adam 'The Statue' Tomlinson today. Want to see if Mitch Brown is a better option than McDonald with the faster pace? Play him -

Petty has to come in for him, surely. He is just not a good footballer, nor do I believe he will ever be a good footballer. Can't mark, zero presence for someone who is 193cm, zero game awareness and will never be the answer...unless the question is 'name a player we should never have recruited?' -

Very few games where he hasn't. A complete lack of intensity. The one player I struggle with. -

Not having a full strength team will hold us in good stead going forward. In previous seasons (correct me if I'm wrong) we've fielded almost full strength sides from the get - go. -

Here's the thing. We have a number of good mid - fielders missing so are unlikely to win. Has our backline stood up? Yes PS - My patience doesn't extend to Tomlinson, who I regard as a very, very ordinary footballer -

The plus side is that we appear to have a functional defence. -

Thanks for the report DeeSpencer. Your comment re keeping Tomlinson away from good forwards resonates with me. Some will disagree, but I’m of the view that Tomlinson not in the side at all will be a sign of progress. He’s mediocre for mine. -

Yes I can LG. He's dropped 1.5 kg in the off - season. Hence he now floats. I think you'll find the science backs me up 100% -

MikeAlpha, does that effectively mean we have first crack at Tyrell Martin next year? I'm guessing yes. -

Moves like Sam Mitchell -
I haven't experienced waterboarding but I suspect it would be more enjoyable than reading your one point repackaged into 5 or 6 posts. We get it. You're not happy...again.

I care Robbie.

DD, I mentioned Geelong benefitting from being in a marginal seat a little while back. There was close on $30 million in 2003 of which the Govt contributed 13 of that. Then you've got the mysterious jobs that open up for family members at Cotton On. On a separate (not unrelated) note, a colleague's partner used to write the memos and posts for Judd to sign when he 'worked' at Visy.

BBO, are you suggesting that Demonland is being increasingly hijacked by overly angry, humourless and self - righteous twats?
