  1. I accidentally read that as ANB and it takes on a different meaning.
  2. Ta Diamond Jim, I posted with a degree of paranoia ....the natural Demonlander state
  3. What we don't want is any scenario where we travel to play WCE at the Dean Margett Retirement Fund Stadium. I can live with just about any other scenario but that one would be a death knell. You'd need to be a five goal better side to win by a point. And I have little doubt that West Coke will get a home final.
  4. Petty was looking like a great prospect prior to injury. If there's talk about delisting him, that's not talk - it's gibberish
  5. I can only imagine the ****eful journey back from Deliverance town after a flogging of 161 points......hang on a sec
  6. LH, realistically i don't think that's up for debate. Oliver is an A grade mid . Viney isn't. For mine, it's where you rest Viney when Brayshaw is on the ball. And do you look to give Viney pure tagging roles for the opposition's best mid -fielder?
  7. Not sure I agree there Willmoy
  8. So now WC is up by 11 points with at least 2 goals that were dead set wrong. A game in the balance is probably no longer.
  9. As I'm watching, I'm convinced that if they play the GF in Perth it's handing West Coke the flag
  10. Trouble is, they never really pay the price. I actually struggle watching games in the West because they get such a great run. I.e. the holding the ball decision on Seeton cost a goal the Darling 'dive' cost a goal So whilst Carlton are 13 or so points ahead, it's not a reflection
  11. I've made comment before but Leon Cameron is very lucky to still have his job imo
  12. A case in point: from memory, we overloooked Darcy Parish for Clayton Oliver. Now, Parish is a limited footballer and, in terms of raw talent, Oliver would be seemingly miles ahead of Parish. However, I've watched Parish lately and (whether you hate the Bombers or simply despise them) he has now improved at a rate of knots. Most of all, he's become a smart footballer who plays to his limitations and makes good decisions with ball in hand. The gap between the two players is much smaller than it was and I doubt i would have magined this two years ago. How can this be?
  13. Get Caracella
  14. Let's hope their recruiter doesn't watch football matches.
  15. As much as I despise the Peptides, the decisions against them against Brisvegas were mindboggling. I.e. amongst others, the Andrew McGrath holding the ball decision in front of goal, the allowing one player to hand the ball to another from beyond the boundary for a shot at goal (that may have been the worst as it was a disregard of the actual rules of the game) and Shiel being grabbed around the neck clearly during a stoppage. There were several others. Wouldn't have changed the outcome but the umpiring was clearly advantageous to Brisbane. Probably the worst umpiring for the season and that's saying something.
  16. Losing last night was a disaster. An Essendon loss is a nice consellation prize.
  17. We don't have the funds to get rid of Goodwin right now. However, we can definitely afford to offload Alan Richardson. Poor to terrible coach at StKilda and, as is a our way, we decide to pick him up as an assistant. Huge error. Meanwhile, smart clubs are looking for young, bright assistants with the mental acumen to genuinely analyse the systems of the opposition and, at the same time, develop systems that work to our strengths.I.e. a Blake Caracella who has shown what an effective assistant can do. I genuinely believe that this lack of off-field smarts has cost us two matches, Geelong and Brisbane. We take an eternity on game day to solve problems being thrown at us. Even taking into account last nights putridness, a good assistant would have us 5 - 3 going into winnable matches. In summary, [censored] off Richardson. You're akin to a double agent.
  18. MFC - Inept since 1965
  19. Previously we've found reasons for losses. Can't execute skills, wrong set up. First time for a very long time where I really don't think they (as a group) played for the club. Now that's got to be on the coach. Probably a 'ripper bloke' but it was there for all to see tonight.
  20. They could include Pauline Hanson and the Bachelor in Paradise cast and it still wouldn't be as bad as our footy
  21. I agree. And yet I'm not entirley sure we have a choice. Tough decisions will need to be made. I'e Brayshaw, Viney, Salem. We're stuck with Lever. Work out how to get Josh Kelly to the club and go cap in hand to the AFL to help us lose Goodwin
  22. Rebuild time. Rip that band aid off.
