  1. It's fair to say he hasn't been as damaging. But will turn it around.
  2. He lead quite a vicious gang around these parts
  3. Some great bands at the Beauie
  4. As a doctor, surely DD you realize that the health of a club is a long term thing. We are sick but we will get better. That's my prognosis anyway
  5. Which, from memory, burnt down in mysterious circumstances
  6. Brilliant! It followed Dyer, Richards etc
  7. Strictly for The Swagman Theatre Restaurant
  8. Actually, Epic Theatre was earlier perhaps
  9. Geez, you're testing me here. I thought it started around 12 on a Sunday did it not? And there was a movie segment on channel 9 called Epic Theatre with old movies like the original 'Man in the Iron Mask'. But I digress!
  10. My old man had a touch of the Clarke Grimshaws about him in that VFL Park was our Lampoons Vacation Wally's World. We'd arrive three hrs before a game (minimum) and park as far away as humanly possible. Long muddy walk to get there and at the end of the game we'd wait for the carpark to clear to be on the safe side.
  11. I went and had a look at Scharenbergs vids. He looks like a great reader of the play. Is he an out and out midfielder though D fan?
  12. I would love to get Kirk in as an assistant. An out and out winner.
  13. If I remember correctly, 81 had great entertainment value. Was Crosswell on board then because I remember him spinning the ball on his fingers after every second mark. It was a bad season but not short of bizarre characters. Alas, the last few seasons have not had that aspect and footy has become life and death.
  14. I think you may be over stretching with Scharenberg and Dunstan at those picks unfortunately based on purely what I've read
  15. Without boring people witless, I wish our journos could pen something close to one of my favorites. http://thestacks.deadspin.com/the-loser-the-most-honest-sports-story-ever-written-772260237
  16. Hey, good stuff. Writing with a bit of poetic flair is what's lacking in our oh so serious journos writing. It's one of the things that both the yanks and Poms have over us. Great sports writing on a consistent basis. http://deadspin.com/5966336/[censored]-you-pelicans-are-awesome-a-defense-of-the-nbas-best-new-team-name
  17. Very upbeat of you Jaded.
  18. Very tempted to head down the road for that one.
  19. Adc, I think you'll find we are going just great. Better than great.
  20. Without giving too much away, it was Ben Hur
  21. I think we all know they answer to that Lordweaver.
  22. I think you'll find you're wearing your pants on your head
