Tairon Ah-Mu - No access for Dees NGA Talent
Return to Glory replied to demonglory's topic in Melbourne Demons
Heard a very interesting story today of how Marc Murphy was drafted to Carlton in 2005 rather than picked up as a father and son. Funnily enough, it involves Visy -
Tairon Ah-Mu - No access for Dees NGA Talent

The hits keep coming. Meanwhile, I look forward to seeing Geelong slapped in the face with a wet lettuce regarding Bailey Smith's connection with Cotton On. -
'Carlton's Nic Newman has been charged with striking for a fourth-quarter incident involving Brisbane's Lachie Neale. The MRO graded Newman's actions as intentional conduct, high contact and low impact. Newman can accept a $3750 fine with an early guilty plea, or risk a $6250 fine with a failed challenge.' Am I the only person staggered that he only received a fine?

Forgive me. Correct

Ah Nu and Andrew next year

I guess what JT and the club will be considering is also where someone like Tholstrup fits in going forward. Does he have the skillset to then play an ANB type role? I think he can. Trac may be resting considerably more in the forward line. In fact, no doubt he will. Then there's Windsor presumably getting more of a run through the middle. Rivers?

If I was to guess, Jagga Smith has played for Richmond VFL. Maybe him at 1. Norf are into Trainor....apparently. Adelaide I think will pick up SA boy Draper. WCE... maybe O'/Sullivan. Maybe

ATG, tbh I'm normally all over our selections. This one is trickier. For instance, I do think that the one could be a bust but also a star is Josh Smillie. I do like O'Sullivan because I do think he was the best of the mids pre-injury. And I'm not in the camp who are not wanting to draft Jagga Smith because, for mine, a problem is how we deliver into the forward line. Langford and Lalor would be great, certainly re size
-
If I was to guess who we will pick (remembering Oliver's rapid rise) it would be Langford.
-
Young Blood, the one thing I would say is that if O'Sullivan is available at pick 6, we call his name out quicker than an RSL Bingo night

Deegirl, if he didn't regret his 'rev the bike' routine, he was never going to regret his song. Hell, he could go with 'I feel pretty, oh so pretty'

Andrew McQualter - Appointed coach of the West Coast Eagles

Wish him well should he go. Don't think he has displayed anywhere near the same level of tactical nous as Yze and we have been poorer for it. -

I'll be buggered as to how you can blame Sunil Gavaskar -
Not your finest moment. Mean spirited.

Opening Round Set to Return in 2025

In respect to public feedback .....'if I want your opinion, I'll give it to you'. -
That's a bit of a delicate one. Always been excited as the prospect of Kalani playing for us but I'm also not completely sold on him. I do know he was a bottom ager this year. Tarion Ah-mu appears to be the greater priority.

Agreed. Hence he’s somewhat annoyed (not the only muckraker) that Trac isn’t leaving. Multiple disingenuous stories from him and Scoop McClure with a clear aim to cause confusion.

For the love of God no

It's a tough one Gator. I'm like you in that it's really only youtube highlights now. And having said that, I'd pick Jagga Smith if he slipped
-
Anyway, it's happy hour. Let's lighten up

Sam McClure will be devastated.

Sam Macclure is the gossip equivalent of a pyromaniac getting off on fanning the flames. Creepy with a bad haircut

You've got to feel sorry for Maxy dealing with this [censored]. We may have to have the first football playing President

This. Love my club but I have always felt that was shameful......and I'm not easily shamed.
