  1. Garry Lyon said it himself, I dont listen to King for more than 10 seconds
  2. I remember how good it felt beating them last year, this year trumps a lot of it
  3. Yep hes a back, not a forward and gives us options with Garland Would still like to see Tom Mac get the job on Cloke though
  4. Cant believe I didnt mention Garland! Stroke of GENIUS
  5. Firstly for Jim, he would of been proud Secondly for Neeld, how anyone has deserved this its him, did his job, celebrated the win, and ran to the box to thank his coaches while letting the players have their moment It really was the first 22 man 4 quarter effort weve had in a very long time. Every single player stood up and was accounted for. Watts put old demons to bed with Hurley, his contest at the end with Jobe won us the game, Jobe was getting Essendon into the game and he beat him one on one Jamar Moloney Sylvia really were different players out there Then there were the usuals... Jones Clark Howe etc Nicholson ran them ragged, Tom Mcdonald gets better each week and Rivers put in one of the best defensive shifts this club has seen in ages, was remarkable! Look at those final images and tell me Neeld has lost the players, that was winning for the coach and fans if ever ive seen one!
  6. The first 22 man four quarter effort this year. 6 Garland - cant look passed his 4th quarter effort 5 Jack Watts - sit down hater - youre making idiots of yourselves 4 Rivers - No words for that effort 3 Grimes - havnt seen us captained like that since Neitz 2 Nicholson - amazing what run and carry can add to a team 1 Jones - deserved it all year
  7. this was never in doubt. Hurleys good, but Watts is just that much skillful. Taking on Jobe one on one at the end won us the game, won a contest no other player has won this year yet

    Colin Sylvia

Yeah this, His injury was pretty severe and we never gave him full recovery, he can easily realise his potential under Misson
  9. Essendon have always been difficult with clash jumpers so luckily were away this week and will use common sense and not clash I have no idea what the current rule is, but wasnt the old rule that the away team gets to chose? Surely the AFL is smart enough to enforce a rule like te EPL?
  10. I enjoyed when he was running into goal 20m out and check sided it out on the full
  11. How anyone can keep Bennell is beyond me
  12. 6 mckenize 5 rivers 4 jones 3 frawley 2 clark 1 blease
  13. "The general feeling at the club from people who play in the same golf club as a few of the players is that Jack is carrying a lot of the load and sheltering others from criticism" Therein lies the problem at the club, making Watts the main problem week in week out when there much bigger ones out there. Neelds first week at the club he mentioned Watts despite Jack ending the year our best player and having his break out season. Why not support Jack and get behind him and focus on the real problems in our playing group rather than going with the flow of the media. Why does he get dropped when Sellar and Dunn get chance after chance in our jumper
  14. Still more than Sellar will ever offer
  15. Out: Sellar (could be the worst in the AFL) , Moloney, Dunn (could be the worst ever), Bennell, Green (if injured) In: Martin, Couch, Petterd, Bartram
  16. Abletts easily the best but Deledio is easily my favourite player to watch
  17. Turnover king but a very good defender, dont think well lose him
  18. Pity our fans like to make themselves look so clueless. Why join the rest of the country on his back instead of being the ones who support him Ridicolous call, stupid thread
  19. One of the major problems we have developing players
  20. Thought it was good of Don and the club to acknowledge that the fans are hurting, could have easily ignored us in all of it
  21. We were decent until the Strauss injury, but in the end Watts was the only positive
  22. And I can see us losing to GWS, not in anyway because they are better than us, but their kids want to win, and want to play footy. Ours havnt won in so long theyve forgotten what winning is and dont really see any desire to fight for it anymore
  23. its not losing, its how we are losing. Not turning up and losing to a Sydney side by 100 points when they hardly manager 80 a game is unnaceptable, 10 goal thrashing to Richmond and Brisbane...its all just unnaceptable
