  1. Aw shucks , someone must have hit a raw nerve!
  2. I was in Livingston , Montana , about to have my first day ever fly fishing . At about 0645 , I put the telly on to the local station which had the Today show at 0700 , and hopped back into bed . Thought "Katie Couric shouldn't be on yet" lifted my head and saw the North tower ablaze, then the 2nd plane coming in live. Soon after , she was talking to [i think] Wolf Blitzer at the Pentagon when he said he'd just felt a huge shudder -- fortunately for him he was on the opposite side to the crash. Fortunately, had to be at the local sports shop to meet my guide at 0800 , or I would've stayed glued to the screen all day. It was surreal to be out fishing on a river knowing what was going on . Spent the next 10 days driving around Montana , South Dakota and Wyoming listening to NPR on the radio , seeing American flags everywhere , including on cars, and of course having many conversations with locals . A constant theme was " Life is short I must reassess my priorities " . When I returned to Jackson Hole Wy the following January { dare I say, to ski } . All was pretty much business as usual.
  3. Well , HWMNBN can now sit up in Blacktown counting his dollars while observing the chaos around him at GWS , and observe from afar the new structure and organization at the MFC. Why sell your soul to the Devil when you were already a DEMON ? Hopefully we will be able to give him huge cause to regret . Sayonara $cully !
  4. Perhaps that should be "REAL DEE " potential
  5. THIS is the theme of the thread , not Bailey -bashing. I think he is a man of great integrity , and he dealt with everything that came his way with balance , dignity and good grace , including his exit from the club . That is in the past , but it is a part of the club's story - we cannot change that . What Pitmaster is saying is similar to what Mark Neeld said at today's "Meet the Coaches " lunch . For example , in answer to a question about how he saw the level of toughness of the players at present , he replied that he wasn't interested in that , he was only interested in how things will be in the future. The club is now teetering on the edge of its future , and THAT is where we should be looking . Personally , I am very excited . I've been excited with anticipation before , but I feel we now have "real deal" potential.
  6. Thank you BB . As I have just posted--- always happy to learn -- in fact I thrive on it .
  7. Thank you Watt and Howe . In fact , I have just been informed by my brother that he is so known . As someone who has been going to Dee games (and non- Dee games of interest ) since 1965 , I cannot believe this nickname has escaped my notice . Just goes to show something. -- maybe that we can't know everything . Almost embarrassing ,but in the scheme of things I'm not fussed . Thank you , I am always happy to learn .
  8. If BJ is Brendan Goddard ( BG) it's no wonder I couldn't work out who he is ! As I said, pardon my ignorance. (no offense to RM , perhaps BJ was a typo ? )
  9. Pardon my ignorance, but who is BJ? I haven't watched the show in years, so I don't know the regular player panelists
  10. I am OS . Any clues about how I can play this on my iPad? It won't even open
