  1. Working all day today unfortunately. Can't even call in sick as the better half would then demand my presence at an afternoon bbq. It seems I'm stuck with occasional score updates on the app and if we have a loss I'll be doing the same tomorrow with the Adelaide game :-( Just get it done today boys so I can watch the replay at 2am a happy man.
  2. No coaches votes this week?
  3. You're ruining selection day :-( Jokes, you're my favourite poster ?
  4. Could be an upgrade on some depth players but would only take if dirt cheap, like garlett cheap.
  5. Why do Gws players like the blues so much? Surely it can't all be about SOS. Perhaps it's just the sheer number of former team mates now... Is it just blues you have inside info on? Seem to recall reading you're friends with someone on the inner sanctum their. Hopefully Chook in Perth will return soon, would love some potential info on where we're at with Lever or other trade targets.
  6. Well I didn't think it was a realistic shot anyway but when someone that talented remains unsigned I would've thought it was worth the discussion. Much like West coast and Freo indicating interest in Hogan last year and us with Lever this year. It would seem to be a moot point now with reports he'll be signing on soon. The relevance of someone out of contract is that it may indicate a desire to leave their club and they would have more power to do so. Contracted player like Gibbs last year can be retained, while an out of contract player that nominates another club usually gets there. But again, all moot. May as well end thread.
  7. If Oliver is out of contract this late in the season I would expect 17 clubs to be asking the question.
  8. Out of contract at the end of this season and Demons rated him (allegedly) higher than Josh Kelly in the 2013 draft. Has played 62 games and is having a breakout season. Could fill that skillful outside role as well as having the ability to go forward and hit the scoreboard. Would cost a lot and I can't actually see him leaving the Saints this year, but for mine is definitely worth the discussion.
  9. Happy with St kilda winning, if we can't beat them next week we don't deserve finals and we have just as much incentive to win as they do.
  10. Well, if anyone can out Richmond Richmond it's us.
  11. Etihad stadium
  12. Not sure if it's been mentioned yet but Hogan just needs 2 goals this weekend to bring up his first 100 goals. Nice mini milestone for him.
  13. Nah it's definitely Joel. He won't be on the official primary list until the end of the year/draft period. From memory he was elevated for king who has since come of the LTI list but we can promote a rookie mid season.
  14. Jones out 4-6 weeks. Watts is a "test"
  15. I'd bring in Wagner for Jones with Wagner to half back and Salem to play more midfield minutes. And someone else out for Gawn, hopefully not Watts.
  16. Thought Wagner was unlucky to be dropped and then was a clear best on in the VFL. Probably not much room in the backline at the moment but have no doubt he'll find his way back in the team soon.
  17. This week Nathan Jones will run out for game 235 sitting him equal 10th in MFC's most games played with Brett Lovett. Love your work Chunk.
  18. I have to disagree with you there. Highly doubt anyone could come up with 20 players to take ahead of him in that 2013 draft if they were serious about it. We sometimes overvalue our players but often the opposite is true and Salem seems to be on the receiving end of the latter.
  19. Richmond make me so happy
  20. Melksham reported twice?
  21. Out: Bugg and JKH In: Melksham and ANB Not super inspiring changes but ANB is much better at playing the forward role JKH is attempting to do. Melksham best on for Casey and I prefer him over bugg anyway. Not sure Kent has done enough level and although I wouldn't mind stretch in I'm not too sure who makes way for him. Three unforced changes seems too many regardless for team stability.

  23. Loved it when 5 players flew for the ball leaving no one to contest at ground level, then follow that up with no one going up and letting the Hawks take uncontested marks.
  24. I sometimes think some of our players have been paid off to lose
  25. Yay, stereotyping for self-affirmation.
