From memory the doggies have a bit of form playing funny buggers at selection. Would expect to see one of their talls being a late out.
-
Maynard and Tucker would be two that I would look at if possible for half back positions. Dawson can play this role as well or as a winger but sounds like he doesn't want to leave. I feel our midfield is still immature and lacking leadership. They may not be the exact type of players we need (inside mids) but I reckon Parker or Cunnington would be a great free agency acquisition on a two year contract, possibly on reduced coin with the lure of a potential premiership.

Are we talking about the incident where beanpole fritsch hip-and- shouldered DGB fairly in a marking contest? Pretty sure it's not baileys fault that DGBs shoulders are made of glass.
-
Since Dunkley isn't a confirmed case I presume that they'll be treated as casual contacts and would only require to isolate until they return a negative test result.
-
Fair comments, I put VDB out as an out because I can't see the footy department dumping the vice captain and VDB is on the fringe.
-
Not a bad thought with Jackson for Weideman. Jackson will be awesome but his output is waning and gave us little when around the ball tonight. Weideman should provide more of a threat forward as well.
-
Out: VDB In: Harmes Rivers is looking like he needs a rest so I wouldn't be opposed to him going out for Bowey.

Pathetic. Still picking and choosing when to give it their all.

0 to everyone

You can tell when we're off. Double grabbing loose balls and inviting pressure. Slow predictable ball movement. So frustrating to watch.

This team can never just let us relax comfortably.

Afl website stating some players and staff are classified as tier 1 contacts and will have to isolate for 14 days regardless of result. Thankfully none of the Melbourne staff seem caught up in this. Clubs listed as staff or players potentially exposed are Collingwood, essendon, GWS, North, St kilda, Sydney, Hawthorn and Bulldogs. Maybe Hawthorn might have some late outs tonight.

Don't think their kidneys would pass medical testing.
-
Poor bloke has to play for Hawthorn, surely that's punishment enough. Also we turfed him and brought in Langdon as a result, I want to know where to send the gift basket.

Was about to support Richmond winning, then i saw the mug on Riewoldt and Lynch. Cannot do it.

Long way to go but Noah Yze is potentially one to keep an eye out for. Currently playing U15s for Ashburton where he has kicked 23 goals in 7 games. Would be eligible for father/son selection in the 2024 draft if he shows sufficient talent for AFL.

I'd be surprised if he went top 10 based on the few games I've seen him play, looks incredibly raw and will take a number of years before he may or may not make the grade. Big risk for an early pick. Might be an indication of the quality of the draft if he goes that early. Perhaps we'll trade into next year's draft and back in development of last year's recruits. Still, there a lot to play out before draft time. He's not in the conversation for the high end picks like Daicos, Horne, Callaghan or Darcy so could go anywhere from pick 5 through to the 4th round.

Suns really need to change their jumper design if they want to be taken seriously. Hideous.

Both Lever and Langdon we were reportedly keen on during their draft year. We obviously kept tabs on them and got into their ear for the better part of a season, if not longer, to bring them across. It's also widely known that tried to trade our future first to target Butters I the draft but had no takers. Just hoping that he's one we're tracking and having a quiet word to lure him back across whether it be in a season or twos time or later. Have no idea on his contract status and Port are stubbornly efficient at keeping vic kids the don't want to lose so it's more wishful thinking than anything.
-
I'm hoping Butters is our new slow burn recruit ala Lever and Langdon.
-
You're weird. I like it.

Unless he was injured it seems the MFC earmarked Ben Brown to come into the team with his limited game time. Bowey is in great form and would love to see him in the side but hard to displace someone in the back half. Unlikely to debut in a high pressure 8 point game against Port either. Wouldn't be surprised to see Melksham given another run. He may not be the player he was in 2018 but he is just about the best person we've got to deliver into forward 50.
