  1. Football sure, but there will be new broads in WA.
  2. For too long Ive been watching players that look about as excited as I do when I go to work...
  3. At the end of the day, Roos has proven that the problem is that we have a poor list and more players than not who are at genuine AFL standard. We have replaced many with like I think.
  4. We need a rebuild of a rebuild of a rebuild. It is was it is afterall.
  5. Oh I agree, dont get me wrong. But we have to get one right eventually just ont he law of averages.
  6. Its the new emblem - mywife always tells me we;ve been terrible ever sense we adopted it LOL
  7. We just seem to really lack onfield leaders and aggressive, confident players. Right across the board we seem to have confidence type players - ones who need others around them to also be on before they can be.
  8. I listened to an analysis of some of these drafts from an Adelaide and Carlton perspective. Lots of the players picked in some of these drafts were fails for other clubs as well. the different is MFC uses draft picks as some kind of hope-currency for the future whereas other clubs dont draw as much attention to them. I know our recruiter was still saying cale Morton should have been a great pickup
  9. Paul ROos and Mick Malthouse both over-estimated the quality of their lists.
  10. Roos looks tired and over it already in the presser tonight. THey have to commit - if they dont how can they ask the members to?
  11. Keep Nate Jones and Dom Tyson - perhaps Cross and Vince - replace the rest. Its that bad. Of course Clark will go - ofcourse Frawley will go - they players all thinks its everyone else's fault but it isnt. The harsh truth is the players are poor and without any decent players to shelter the newer ones it may just spiral.
  12. I had a good weekend - until the dees once again ruined it. Even Roosy's pressor was a non event
  13. The new Orleans saints in the NFL had to organize a full on voodoo curse breaking thing at the start of their season to break their curse or bad juju - and if you read their story it read like ours but without our old history of success. voodoo is the go.
  14. In the NFL the New Orlean Saints were constant strugglers with dismal seasons in succession and really bad luck with injuries, player management and weird bad things. in desperation their supporters (who wore bags on their heads to hide their faces in shame) held a voodoo ceremony in their home ground at the start of the season to break the curse. It worked and not long after they started to succeed - eventually winning a super bowl... dumb I know but it makes you wonder if you list all the bad luck beginning with poor old Troy Broadbridge.
  15. If I am honest I would have dropped Trenners over Toump personally. Viv was quiet last week and someone has to make way for Viney. At least for confidence but I don't know about speed. dropping kids is ok - they are better slowly learning their trade in the vfl than having what little confidence they have shattered by playing AFL. players that need to lift include grimes, frawley and id love to see Kent and Evans given a go.
  16. like the hawthorn v Dees Casey preseason practice match where they ran out of cold drinks just after quarter time?
  17. David king is one of the few in the media that tells it like it is without sychophantic tendancies
  18. No matter what the rules are it seems Melbourne always get shafted
  19. yes but we were below AFL standard last year and we won most stats just couldn't kick it between the big sticks. but I think we may be wooden spooners this year.
  20. I think we played better than people here might credit us. Watts was massive, Nate Jones untethered, Vince exciting and Tyson getting plenty of the footy. We were punished onthe rebound and I'm not sure if this was bad structures or bad execution of structures. Dunn is resurrected. As is Watts.
