I've had a few decent collects over time but I was a bit lucky on each occasion. Sometimes it pays not to research too much.

Somewhere in Newcastle I'm presuming. Eels got it back to a 2 point margin so we covered that game easily but the Waratahs couldn't get the ball over the line despite attacking the Blues try line in the dying minutes of the game - lost by 3. Ugh. Still, I've got a few horses running around in 3 overnight races. There's always the next opportunity Wadda.

The A-League final is on one of the channel 10 stations (channel 1?) The keeper for Melb Victory had a fantastic first half. Brilliant saves

They're down by 4 but we need the Eels to start scoring against the Sharks. There's a lot of luck involved with sporting multi's. I usually just set and forget and hope for the best. I'm watching a bit of the A-League GF though ... the keeper for Melbourne is playing lights out. Swans are battling a bit too. I've backed Good Magic each way in the Kentucky Derby - more for the place in actual fact Wadda.

2 big races from overseas coming up overnight - The 2000 Guineas down the straight 8 at Newmarket just after midnight tonight & The Kentucky Derby just before 9.00am tomorrow. 'Good Magic' offers a bit of value in the Kentucky Derby although Mendelsshon & Justify are heavily favoured whilst in the 2000 Guineas, the winner should come from the top 3 fancies (Aiden O'Brien trains 2 of the 3 and also Mendelsshon in the Kentucky Derby) I'll post up the replays tomorrow if they're available

I was guilty of following the money but maybe the punters thought the 1200m was a bit short. That's the only thing I can think of Wadda. But we now know the horse can win at Group 1 level at 1200m, 1400m & 1600m ... not too many horses are capable of that. But I suppose that's what can happen in the big group races - top horses end up being over the odds because of the quality. However, Shoals wasn't even mentioned.

Looks like Shoals could be set for Royal Ascot now. A dominant win against some very likely types. The 3rd placegetter would have put me out of the trifecta anyway. Tri paid a lazy 9k+ so there are a few happy campers.

Yep ... I keep looking at the horse as well. It's a good field but Shoals has been forgotten

JJ changed his best bet of the day to Savapinski in the last ... he's done that before but was probably looking for a bit of value after the scratchings in race 2. Silent Warrior well beaten though - another 2nd but the 1.60 for the place was a reasonable return considering there were only 7 runners.

And I got the trifecta based on his tips - not a big return but a win is a win Wadda!

Corey was still lying on the track at the 300m mark when they were in the back straight ... scary moment and hopefully he's ok.

Lucky I got on last night with those 3 with Silent Warrior shortening the way it has ? Not that I thought you'd pick Land of Plenty ... I just liked the horses chances anyway. Good choice Wadda. The Robert Sangster Stakes is a good betting race and now that Viddora is out, any number of horses can get into the finish.

3rd tip is in (forget the golf, Ogilvy missed the cut!) Here are the 3 ... Cronulla (1-12) over the Parramatta Eels $2.75 Waratahs (1-12) over the Auckland Blues $3.10 Melb Storm (1-12) over the Dragons $3.00 It's the only sports bet I'm doing this week Wadda apart from maybe a Sunday only pick 3 or pick 4 involving the NBA & the NHL (and the Melb Storm) I rarely get close with sports multi's thus the switch to the joint effort.

Got word back that it will probably be NBA Sunday (our time) ... could be anything though Wadda. When it comes through I'll post it up. I'm also looking forward to the 4 big races from overseas ... late tomorrow I'll post up the links again but I've picked out my choices after finding a bit more info. Knowing a fair bit about the runners makes watching the races all that more worthwhile - and of course having a wager on them more so again.

The 'Land Of Plenty' tip from the pundits is more to alert those reading this thread that it could be used as an add-on for multi punters. I'll throw it into a few 3 race multi's. I reckon 3 is about enough with the horses but they're are still very hard to get. Again, low risk with a small outlay.

Sportsbet is my standby betting agency when Ladbrokes fall short with the options. They've got the golf top 10 up and available. We look to get around 15-1 up to 25-1 for the first 3 tips in one bet and then add on the golf tip in another bet to win big. Small outlay of course so the risk is negligible.

3rd tip in ... Wells Fargo Championship - Geoff Ogilvy Top 10 finish ... paying $8.00 He is currently tied for 7th at -3 ... three shots off the lead. One for the 'wider' exotics.

Well, Silent Warrior should win then ... because JJ is due? Glass half full here Wadda. I watched the 2 preview shows on fast-forward last night and then listened out for the best bet on RSN this morning and the consensus tip is 'Land of Plenty' in the 7th at Flemington tomorrow (No.8)

Turns out they did get a bit of rain in Adelaide yesterday. A Soft6 at the moment but quite windy ... could get back to a Good4 but a Soft5 is a possibility (according to the 'Experts')
