A Day at the Races
Had a dirty day myself ... I reckon it's a track for the exotics. There are too many variables to find winners consistently. On-pacers often get into the finish Anamoe wins and I break even for the day so I was barracking for the protest to be upheld even though I thought it should have been dismissed!! haha Anyway, we move onto Derby Day ... Forgot You & Gunstock equal favourites at 5-2 and then it's 10-1 (or better) the field

A Day at the Races
Re the protest in the Cox Plate Protest being dismissed was the right decision but the interference did stop Anamoe's run to a degree. I just don't believe the interference was all that severe We see a lot of brushing and slight bumps and to me that's just part of racing Upholding the protest would have suited me as I had Anamoe going in a few bets (including a decent win bet)

Busy day myself but managed to listen in on all the drama surrounding the protest in the Cox Plate

A Day at the Races
10's of $Millions lost on Zaaki in the all-ins (doubles on the big races as well) I find it a little questionable for it to happen on the day (and I'm not talking through my hip pocket)

A Day at the Races
Zaaki out of the Cox Plate ... elevated temperature

A Day at the Races
In those sprints at the Valley if a horse can win the start, hold it's ground and then kick, it often wins (gotta be a good horse to start with though) Jonker has now won $2.1Million and it's run some very quick times over the journey. I had it included in a trifecta but didn't have Bella That's racing (at the Valley!)
-
A Day at the Races
Jonker was $10 yesterday ... looked the winner a long way from home but Bella nearly pinched the win Savatoxl & Lombardo just couldn't keep up ... old boy Streets ran on well

A Day at the Races
Gator, Mick Sharkie & Gareth Hall on RSN Spring Carnival radio tonight from 5pm (Valley races) This meeting last year they were on and got on the plonk! A little unhinged as a consequence!!

A Day at the Races
I agree on Lombardo ... a horse on it's way up. Quinella with Savatoxl? On RSN this morning the track watcher mentioned Rambeau ($26) as one that impressed (Friday Moonee Valley) Race 1 No.4 Gator's 2/3 Parlay involves 3 races at Randwick (Saturday) R6 No.9 Ma and Pa R9 No.6 Entriviere R10 No.9 Gravina About 45-1 for the 3

This trio saluting will return odds of about 40-1 (In a multi) Good luck punters!

Best Bet (Saturday) Moonee Valley R3 No.2 New York Baby (Win) $4.60

A Day at the Races
Well done Gorg! I got on and a good way to end the day ... the horse fought well to the line. Tough win!

A Day at the Races
Hasta ran ok for 3rd in the Geelong Cup ... slick time for the race though. Tralee might go alright in the Cup. Hit the line well At $160k for 12th it's well worth just getting a runner in the big race. Anyway, the connections picked up a cool $240k for winning the Geelong Cup

... and I don't mind Excelida in the Black Pearl St (R8 No.7) Good each way odds shortening from 15-1 into 12-1 ... drops 2.5kgs from its last start win at HQ
-
A Day at the Races
It sure is ... I'll post up the JHR fields and odds later on or tomorrow. Manikato Stakes and the 2 big races at Randwick are good betting races too (The Invitation & Bondi Stakes) But I reckon one of Zaaki, Anamoe or Verry Elleegant wins the Cox Plate. Anamoe has to get another 400m and Verry Elleegant & Zaaki are coming off forgive runs Edit: Brett Prebble gives Probabeel a big chance ... very confident about its chance

A Day at the Races
Hasta La War for me in the Geelong Cup ... overs at $8 although deductions might apply if Tralee Rose doesn't run So El Mag and Hasta is paying 23-1 in a double. That might do me!

A Day at the Races
Replay time (last 2 weekends)

A Day at the Races
Incentivise now highly unlikely to run in the Cox Plate ... Peter Moody mentioned that the horse was a bit weary this morning 2 and a half weeks to the Melbourne is a good enough rest though. Might get a 1.5kg - 2kg penalty ... that would take him to 57kg - 57.5kg (Twilight Payment 58kg & Verry Elleegant 57kg)

NFL
As an add-on the way that Tampa manage games mirrors the Pats at their best ... and Brady is the conduit And Brady's ability to get his team all on the same page is also a major factor. There's a quite visible buy-in
-
NFL
Seriously, how good is Tom Brady!! 7/10 Super Bowl wins and he isn't looking like stopping soon. Manages games like a top line head coach Pele, the Babe, Gretzky and Jordan move aside, Brady is King!

A Day at the Races
That's a good get! I recall we got on at very good odds in the Winterbottom late last year I'm using some bonus bets on a few multi's at Royal Ascot tonight (4 x G1's & a G2) ... on Sky1 for those that are keen
