A Day at the Races
Got my jumps multi up at Market Rasen (wherever that is!) ... 2 shorties & a value runner Watched the replays and 2 just got up ... prefer to wake up and win without having to ride each runner home ?

A Day at the Races
How'd ya go? I got a few collects but was down a tad. And Sha Tin can be like that - just when you think you've figured it out it goes the other way Didn't drop much though and they were mainly bonus bets anyway. I'll finish off with an overnight multi and hopefully wake up and win!

A Day at the Races
The above post I've quoted might help Gorg. I'm turning over some bonus bets and cash today so it's mainly quinellas at Sha Tin I don't expect to win a lot but am aiming at a moderate profit (although there is a bit of value about today) Moreira has an excellent book of rides for the win punters whilst Zac Purton also has 4 or 5 winning chances with some value runners in a few races Needless to say those 2 jockeys will feature heavily in my bets ?

A Day at the Races
Good get on Rodeo Gorg ... I just missed the exacta on that race but had a more than decent day overall Got some bonus bets to use up plus some extra expendable from today so Sha Tin here we come! Moreira is back from suspension so I'll be following him plus Zac probably has some good mounts

Yeah nice 3 figure collect for the 4pick place card. The each-way value pays off again Only need 1 out of 6 or 7 to win to break even plus it's money back fpr 2nd or 3rd at Sportsbet plus the place multi is an option again Bonus bucks late (gotta love that)

A Day at the Races
Bad luck Gorg At least the place multi is still alive with my 2 choices (Anamoe & North Pacific) to come
-
A Day at the Races
I'm having a good day ... Rich Hips, Oxley Road, Nimalee saluted and just missed on Malicorne House money from here on in ?
-
A Day at the Races
Yeah I was on Volpine as well ... only audio here but it sounded like it was home for a bit

A Day at the Races
Defribulate too good but the place multi is alive ... we're in with a shot
-
A Day at the Races
Ha ha! They could have told us that on Thursday morning! There's always another race Gorg but North Pacific now has 1 less horse to get past (it gets back but J-Mac is on board
-
A Day at the Races
Our 4 picks are paying about 12-1 for the place multi so that's worth a small wager
-
A Day at the Races
You may as well have another go as well Gorg (with the added value of the place multi coming together) Here's mine Caulfield R7 No.5 Anamoe 7.50/2.30 More so for the place multi but if they go too fast up front, Anamoe can swoop and win)

A Day at the Races
The 'Get On' racing hour is on Channel 78 tonight at 9.45pm If you haven't seen the show before it's a bit of fun with lots of tips ... Richo hosts with Hutchy as the main tipster (along with Brent Zarafa) And the Australian Group Racing 'Bible' is back on line (finally) See below Australian Group Racing (once on the site click on any individual Group race for more details, prizemoney, previous winners and loads more info)

A Day at the Races
Huge day at Caulfield coming up on Saturday with the Blue Diamond, Futurity Stakes & the Oakleigh Plate. Crack fields throughout the day. 3 Group races up at Rosehill to complement the day The ADATR's crew have already earmarked Hang Man (R1 No.6 Caulfield) & North Pacific (R7 No.3 Rosehill) as potential winners so good luck punters! Feel free to post up a best bet fellow 'landers - the more the merrier (unless we lose!) The 3 main feature races are still available (n.b. only one best bet per race so as to keep things easier to manage) Oh, and the thread is up to 200 pages which is no mean feat! A Day at the Races
Yeah no worries, I've got one in mind too! But we should wait for the others first Gorg ... late tomorrow we'll know who's in
-
A Day at the Races
I reckon the horse is very good value @8.50 (Laddies) Gorg ... measures up to Defribulate (dead heat last start) according to a couple of the racing pundets and is 3 or 4 times the value. Extra furlong might suit too! DZ, JV7, Wadda and 1 or 2 others could come in later but the place multi is starting to measure up (although we don't want another scratching in the 'Hang Man' race (R1)

A Day at the Races
Fair enough Gorg ... I probably overreacted anyway. All good The Futurity Stakes is a beauty as you indicated ... Ole Kirk & Arcadia Queen are big chances as well as Behemoth & Probabeel It's a trifecta race for me as I'm a big fan of those 4 in particular plus 'Streets' & Crosshaven could get good runs and get into the finish. I'll post up the preview later as the Oakleigh Plate & the Blue Diamond are of high interest as well (Ollie chose Anamoe over Ingratiating)

A Day at the Races
You should have said that then as I saw it as you betting against me ? So far I've had 6 different people stomp all over my best bet ... one 'individual' decided to make my pick his 'lay' of the day! (Twice) Both my choices won by the way but no apology was forthcoming!
-
A Day at the Races
And I'm bound to like something else in the race that you pick. If we're going to bet against each other there is no point in having a best bet Probably better to leave it unsaid ?

A Day at the Races
David Hayes is starting to train some winners up at Hong Kong again 2 winners so far today including a 25-1 shot in race 4. And Zac hasn't been able to take advantage today in the absence of Moreira (out suspended?)

A Day at the Races
Nature Strip is a 1000m horse which can sometimes run well at 1200m (often gets caught out over racing?) Kah will be riding the horse from here on in so she may have found the answer to the horse in terms of rating the horse ... it's what Jamie does so we may be seeing the new Nature Strip Looked the winner a long way out but your choice (September Run) is the one to follow ... flew past Bivouac which is no mean feat Colette wins the Apollo St. in fine fashion. Very impressive Verry Elleegant the eye-catcher late. Needs further than 1400m
-
A Day at the Races
And is Nature Strip back in business? After that win you'd reckon so Jamie Kah does it again! Quick time too ... 00:56.91 for the 1000m The two 3yo's ran very well too (September Run & Swats That) Newmarket Hcp for those 2 (at the lightweights) Bivouac never a factor - not his day but probably needs 1200m
