In terms of wins, who knows? Anywhere from 6 to 12 wins depending on any number of factors Much like winning, losing can be a habit so if we don't win games, we can lose confidence and lose the will to win This is where King's coaching is all-important. He and the FD have to take a realistic approach. As do the supporters I believe our main area of concern is the development of many of the players (old & new) And having a healthy list is also A1 important The development of the new game plan with a good dose of patience thrown in is another important facet I still believe that it's our senior players who need to lift and be accountable Because if that doesn't happen, up ahead is a major rebuild. Of course, we're in a rebuild of sorts by default anyway, but we're not bereft of talent A rebuild of sorts with a revamped FD, some added experience (or veterans), along with a few mature age types and a good sprinkling of youth I'm reasonably confident that we'll advance forward to point where we can attack 2027 with gusto. We are probably or possibly looking for another opener (Weatherald? Renshaw? Kellaway?) and a no.5 bat (Khawaja retiring) But whether our quarter* of frontline bowlers can stay together for 18 tests** over an 11 month period is another question altogether *Cummins, Starc, Hazlewood & Lyon ** The 18 tests over the 11 month period includes a possible appearance in the WTC (2027) as well as 3 tests in South Africa *Sept/Oct), 4 Tests vs NZ next Summer, 5 Tests in India (Jan/Feb 2027) and the 5 Ashes Tests in England (2027)

You've got to be in it to win it, but in this sport, as we've often seen, a team can score twice in a minute Rams should win as expected, but the other 5 matches are definitely up for grabs ... maybe the Pats & Bears at home, but who knows? I'll be quite happy if the Packers can win one playoff game, but if we do happen to beat the Bears, Seattle awaits! (with that scenario, the Rams would avoid Seattle in the 2nd week, if the Rams get past Carolina in week 1)

King has 2 major tasks* and it won't be easy Get the best out of our experienced/mature players (that includes those players aged 22/23) Develop the young blokes and give them all a good grounding To play finals** we're going to need at least 8-10 stand-out performers, most weeks. Right now, that's a bit of an ask, but you never know It's starts with Gawn, Langdon, Kozzie, Steele, Lever, Salem, Fritsch, Bowey, Rivers, Petty, Chandler, Melksham, Sparrow, Turner, Mihocek & Viney (when healthy) Get 8 - 10 of them firing (most weeks) and we'll be quite competitive to a point where we can win at least 9-10 games If not, we're going to struggle *Aside from implementing a new plan, instilling confidence in the group and other matters **Remember the 10, the top 10!
