Just spent 10 minutes looking at Essendon's Big Footy board - seems like total denial. Maybe the drug program has been more widespread than first thought.

Maybe there should be free agency for supporters. Some of ours might get a better deal elsewhere and allow us to make some improvement in the fan base.

My depression cost me a job that I really loved. Whilst I can empathise with Mitch's predicament I would never presume to understand it. Depression is different for each individual. It has some common elements but the experience and outcomes vary so widely that it's dangerous to try and make definitive statements. I'm back in a job that I enjoy but I'm never sure when I'm going to be bitten by the black dog. Maybe we should all just wish him well and move on.

Beat me to it. Having said that, I think we are in with a real chance on Monday. If the boys can build on recent performances and not be over-awed by the crowd and the Collingwood "names", we'll match them up pretty well. I think it might come down to belief in the game plan and in each other. We seem to have done a fair bit to bring that to the fore this year, so I'm looking to a hard fought contest over the four quarters with us running out 9 point winners!

How good is it to be having this conversation? Despite the win/loss ratio, I am as excited as I have been in the last ten years; maybe even 20. When we had success in the past, it always seemed to come out of the blue and, consequently, never really seemed sustainable. I get the feeling that things are going to be different this time around. Am I optimistic? #&*% yeah!
