the gap between our best and worse footy is [censored] huge.

Let's see if we can respond this time. I reckon we've got the capability but if the effort of the third quarter keeps up it'll be a ten goal hiding.
-
It's a pretty even contribution from most of the boys but the backmen are doing a sterling job, as is Jamar. The spread dropped off a bit in that second term as well. If we can get an overall collective lift we will be the better team.
-
GWS are a much team than the one that snuck home against the Saints last week. I'm expecting it to be a nail-biter. Demons by 3 points.
-
Whatever, Cletus. The Jurrah threads went on for far too long as well when they should've been hit on the head much earlier.
-
Like he said, it brings out all of the rednecks and idiots.

This, if true, would be more widely known throughout AFL circles. I would support this if it was accompanied by the offer of a Rookie spot on a rookie salary which Clark turned down. If he loved the club so dearly then he should've appreciated the stance and offer from the club for a single season and then get back on the primary list on a healthy contract.

Indeed.

Are we seeing Geelongs culture crumbling?

Clark sledged by the Hawks. http://m.afl.com.au/news/2015-04-09/clark-sledged-by-hawks -
His ability to train hard and without any foot related issues pre trade period will be the only indicator the club should look at. We know be has the ability and I'd be pretty disappointed if we cut him or traded him when his body has come good.
-
If this pies supporter was right in his assessment then I'd suggest he wouldn't be in line for a call up. Make sense?
-
I think he'll play quite a few as well but with limited pre-season training at AFL intensity I'd expect him to get quite a few rests as well.
-
Media reports that he might be the replacement for Sidebottom.
-
In fairness to Freeman, we haven't even seen him play a game yet. He could explode on to the scene this year..

No offence intended but your username rings alarm bells for me old mate. -
Picture of Jack Watts gracing the article as well. Maybe it's just the cynic in me, but if we had have got smashed on the weekend, Jack Viney would be getting chastised left, right and centre for playing a rough tag on Ablett. It's amazing what a win means other than just the 4 points.

That and how bloody loose is the Guernsey? Sheez...
-
Becomes a problem when you have opposition but I get your point.
-
I'm looking forward to seeing how Hogan and Dawes work together. I have a small concern that Dawes has the tendency to interfere in marking contests when he clearly shouldn't be competing for the ball. If they can stay separate and provide good leads then the opposition should be really stretched.

Huh?I don't think they're there to support Clark or Frawley but rather watch two of the best teams in the comp go at it. Purely a learning exercise. ED: loving the booing of him.

Toumpas just doesn't look damaging when he's in play. He lacks presence, his kicking doesn't look like penetrating, tackling is meh, footy smarts okay... I want him to be a player but at this stage I just can't see any future. Hope I'm wrong..

I made mention of it in the Game Day thread that we have finally got a bit of mongrel throughout the team. There were passages of play today where were aggressive to the point of being almost arrogant or nasty. Something this teams not had for yonks.. We need to be feared. Today was a very good start - lets back it up against the Giants.
-
Time for a few stubbies guys. What a super win by the boys. Completely different team. I'm delirious.
-
Boys just need to keep doing what they've been doing. Only one more quarter of sweaty palms guys.
