Would love to see Jesse dish out a super game by out-marking Hurley and kicking a bag. 6 goals today??

I'm used to HD fox footy but will take anything in this situation. First world problems. I'll have ice cold froffies at hand so I'll manage.

I'm stuck in West Papua thanks to that shitty volcano in East Java. Thankfully, Australia Plus is telecasting the game. I'll watch it the game on a 32" screen all in low definition analogue. What a shame the weather is going to potentially even the contest up. I'm looking for a big win.

It warms the cockles of my heart to know that a young bloke who grew up supporting this club and was over the moon when drafted by them, is about to make his debut. This kid is a fair dinkum Demon. He'll give his all, plus some. Best of luck, young fella.

Viney will go to Stanton and there will be new material for the 'made me cry' thread.

Even his old man has publicly stated that he's worn down by 'everything' but pulling out for the rest of the season seems a bit OTT.

We expected to smash them in the NAB warm up game and look how that ended. Let's just keep things in perspective. 15 goal win.

That's great news and I hope he progresses further in his rehab however, correct me if I'm wrong, he has only just re-commenced full load running again so the real tests regards his foot as opposed to his fitness have only just begun. Fingers, legs, toes etc crossed.

Why is it a specialty?

Sitting in the Bamboo Bar in Bali before flying out to Timika at 0130hrs tomorrow morning. Quite a few Bogan WCE supporters in attendance so hope to be sticking up them later today. On a side note, Gary Abletts beard looks good.

Irony. These blokes are providing entertainment and contributing to a cause at the same time. I don't dispute the cringe-worthiness of it all but I do manage to look past it and appreciate it for what it is, and meant to be.

I believe he's going to be a regular contributor to Demonland whilst based in Hawaii.

You get wound up so easily, Stuie. Why not remain impartial or easy going before real evidence? I'm confident Party Boy has got it right again.

I posted this proposition last night in a long and detailed way only for my connection to crash during posting. Roos has been posturing the last few weeks and the inclusion of McCartney has approved the process to conclude earlier than anticipated. Ed; spelling

I doubt the Hawks trio you've mentioned will be retiring anytime soon the way they're playing.
-
If true, I'm glad it didn't go through. He's a good player but that's plain overs.

I agree with what you're saying and I hope we keep winning games but the fact remains that with each win we will lose a relative amount of trade power in the way of picks. Appreciating that trades can be done where clubs lose out, I feel confident that we won't bundle any of our promising youngsters with pick 5 to 8ish to get an A grader over the line. It's a fine line.
-
To be honest, Brayshaw excites me more than Dangerfield.
-
Then who do we want? There's no longer many A grade mids available in the FA market. Work the trade period again? If we have a good run home we'll have a weaker hand to deal with.

I loaded up on another Guernsey after some 'merchant banker' stole one of my others from a Brisbane hotel room. 55% is a fantastic saving on guernseys.

Trengove is as much inside/outside as any of the options we have available and you're right, versatile enough to play off HF or HB lines.
-
Really? Why? He's clearly capable of being a grunt player when fit.
-
Being out of the game for the length of time Jack has, shouldn't really have any bearing on his capacity to return as some posters have alluded to. Hell, mature age players like Vanders who have plenty of will and grunt can be drafted and contribute immediately. Trengove has spent a long time in rehab but has been present during the entire period of the current FD and would have witnessed pretty well as much as the blokes that've been playing games. Trengove gets his foot right, gets the power back into his legs, plays some competitive games at VFL level and he would be a clear choice in our best 22. FCS, Matt Jones is still best 22.

Always good for laugh. Dwayne Russell (born March 4, 1965) is a very ordinary former Australian rules footballer and currently an even more ordinary commentator of the sport. He played for the Port Adelaide Football Club in the SANFL, before crossing over to VFL club Geelong in 1987. He played 50 games for 51 goals until he was removed from the club in 1991 for trying to pass himself off as Gary Ablett's younger, better looking, but less talented brother at Geelong Nightclubs. Following his retirement he was meant to be the captain-coach of Colac- Coragulac for 1992. However, he appeared at only two training sessions, collecting the $30,000 dollars to undertake the role. On the eve of his first match, he quit his position when he discovered that the Colac-Coragulac Football Club had not installed a solarium in the team rooms, as per his persistent requests. The job later went to Michael Roberts, whom pundits had always considered to have a far greater tactical nous and grasp of the game than Russell in the Cheese and Milk Factory, Mister.
