Agree with all of that however, my point was that if he remains consistent, as does Cripps, it will be the eye-catching games that get Jesse over the line.
-
I think the Hulk will need a few more games where he clearly dominates and kicks more than 2 or 3 goals. There's no doubting he's a rising star but I reckon the criteria will be heavily biased toward consistency. A few real eye-catching performances will help Jesse a lot. And let's not forget about Gus, either.

From today's set shots it appeared he's comfortable kicking from 45 - 50m. Outside of 50m his effort affects accuracy. Still pretty bloody good for a 13 gamer.
-
Something tells me he was fairly pleased...
-
Even the second time around it makes little sense.

Sheez, the blokes played a few games, managed to kick 3 goals in his first appearance, played the Sub on two occasions and you've got him in your sights. Wow.
-
No Hanley for the majority of the game. Beams was playing under duress of a shoulder injury. Viney blanketed Rocky. Three huge factors that helped us get over the line.
-
Meh.
-
Looks like the boys put too much effort into hitting the pee ball during half time. Poor coaching Roosy.

JKH subbed.

Maxy!! Fuggit.

Herewith the beginning of throwing this game.
-
Still three more than Mitch got this weekend.
-
Indeed, has the ability to hit to the running mids advantage. The one to Viney was sweetly timed..
-
How refreshing it was for us to actually snag a goal in the last 30 seconds.
-
No doubt he presented better than Hogan last week but I'd hate to see him become the focal point.
-
Tmac to start froward the way Roos was just talking to him, Hoges and Dawes.
-
What I would give to see Viney shitmix Robinson.

I hope the boys are fired up for this game after losing by a couple of small margins. The contested footy stats in those games have been in our favour bit we've still found a way to lose. The Geelong win was fantastic but our accurate kicking was clearly the defining factor in that game. We need to see our forward line function properly today to have any chance. Mids and backs have been doing their jobs adequately but our F50 entries haven't been converted. Need to lower our eyes today and hit up some leads which our forwards need to capitalise on. Not confident at all today but hoping some fire in the belly will get us over the line.

If Jamar was at an earlier point in his career then I would consider your points valid. Fact is that he's spent. Roos knows that and will manage him accordingly, regardless of the said "we will reward good form" rhetoric.
-
That's a lot of love for Jamar, fella's. He struggles at AFL level and is limited, or maybe has peaked would be a better conclusion. Shows he's a dominant VFL grade player on occasion but is not the now nor the future of the MFC. I don't believe he's worth bringing back into the side now considering the status quo. He's been good but has reached his use-by date. Stick with Gawn and maybe employ Spencil again like we did against the Cats. Sad to say it but Spencil offers more options than Jamar and they are more valuable than giving Jamar another go at mediocrity.

Hang on, I thought we were talking about Jayden, not Karmichael.
-
Just want Kent to get through the game and pull up 100% fine. Looking forward to seeing him back in the ones for a handful of games before EOS.
