Agreed. Not the greatest awareness / vision. He's a quick player across the ground & a good scrapper at ground level. Panics with his disposal far too often and generally only looks straight ahead, even when players are running alongside laterally or coming from behind as an inside corridor option. Consider subbing him for Woe from here. Push Tracc up forward for more minutes and bring ANB into the middle during those periods to utilise his kicking accuracy coming inside 50.

Absolutely DJ. You hit the nail on the head with lack of mobile small / medium forwards to present and clean up. Moniz is one of those options imho but doing very well at HB so far. Bill the other of course

Great to see Valentine back. He adds a bit of solidity to the back line imho.

Yes agreed. That's when you need to hit 45s or laterals. Possibly even behind as a last resort if no other options. As mentioned, many players miss this aspect for some reason and just blaze away regardless of what's in front. Although some are under so much pressure they have little time to assess and they just have to dump kick. Not ideal but its the nature of the game

Edwards having a decent game so far. Hits up Benny who then decides not to shoot at goal from 50 and returns the favour to Edwards who misses from 35 on a 45

Their transition has been quicker / slicker on occasions too giving them nice looks inside 50

Yes they often miss lateral or 45 options but it's also a result of some forwards not working hard enough (repeat efforts) to hit up at the ball carrier. This same thing purveys alot when players are bursting out of stoppage through the middle or off a wing. The leads from designated forwards often go missing. They are somehow expecting fatigued player to kick it over the head of their defender as they run away from them towards goal. Alternatively a player at stoppage receiving or gathering under pressure then having to dump kick. Often forwards sit back in this situation allowing their direct opponent or a spare to play in front for the easy intercept. See this quite often at senior level too. One of my bug bears. Very frustrating to watch.

Moniz prolific ... ends up with Bill who hits Sesto lace out on the lead. Sesto hits a shorty to Windsor who goes back amd misses from 30 in front Sandy by 2 points

I'm glad some of you got to sleep! Some of that early morning TV is right up there. Motorised mops that have some connection with da fuzz, stretchy copper hoses that you can apparently put in your pocket that never kink and how the hell is Chuck still killing it on his total gym every night!?
