Agree re Hunter. He's so slow out of the blocks now. Laurie has alot of work to do on the decision making and execution before he should be looked at again. Turnover king at VFL level. Probably doesn't get better in the short term with the step up.

Why would you give up an extra at the stoppage when you're a goal behind with a few minutes to go. Match them around stoppage and try and clear quickly into the f50 surely to get the scores level

I know they're trying to link up and run the ball but too often the Casey defenders over use HB across the defensive mid zone, often end up turning it over. Allows the oppo too many rebounds into their 50 and looks at goal Good so far in general but need to clean that aspect up of their game style up.

Yes plus a spillover secondary cheer squad who sat roughly between the pocket and flank at the Punt Rd end (northern stand side) with floggers if i recall correctly. We still had a pretty big squad back then as it wasn't that long since the glory years of the late 50s and '64'. Throwing them from the southern stand over the balcony after a goal was the best. Confetti was also thrown in the form of bags of cut up newspapers. The poor cleaners and grounds staff in those days. Imagine trying to clean all that crappola up. Especially if it rained! Pretty certain by choice WC.

Sydney VG at chipping the ball inside 50 to a slight advantage of fellow player in a 1 v 1. It doesn't always come off but the % of successes / retention of ball inside 50 must be pretty high vs the average. A great asset to have as it means you're finishing off the hard work prior to that, taking more shots at goal, allowing the press to be set nicely behind the ball and giving players a chance to recover while the shot clock's counting down.

Our main extractor is usually Viney Beetle. He's carried that stinger for around 3 weeks now and ever since then his form has started dropping off. IF he's still carrying that and there's a 'managed' rested solution that helps him fully recover and get back to his best, surely you would take it during this 10 day break plus another 7 before the Saints? Even if it meant bringing in Laurie or Kolt to play that role for this week against a bottom 4 club.

If the ball hits the deck inside 50 they're super competitive here also and quick to pounce if it gets to the outside Gonna be very hard to beat if they hold form and not too many injuries

Clarry's def being targeted by the umpiring fraternity here Ang. While others are left to continue on their merry way. Some, like Cripps, are untouchable as we witnessed during his default brownlow year.

Warner has a super tank. Gets to so many contests. Very strong over the ball and ability to put in multiple bursts out of congestion.
