  1. The balance (inside and out) from last week has gone. Viney, so far, has not added to the team and is flat footed around the contest. Again we are back to too many pure coal face players at the contest with no ability to break away and release to the likes of Stretch (is he there?), Salem and Fritshkreig (out best ball users).
  2. What has happened to the game post 666 is an abomination. It's made it worse not better. Well done Gil & Co! ?
  3. What was that effort from O-Mac....ran under the lot. And Stretch's disposal running out there ...pure panic
  4. They just cannot connect forward of center...T-mac needs to run at Jones there not sit back
  5. T-mac has no run into the back of 2 players of ours playing in front, a good chance of marking, and spoils them. Such dumb footy right now.
  6. Yes....it doesn't matter how you dispose of it apparently. If you get caught just let it fall out of your hands
  7. We would have to be the worst team at finishing inside 50. It's just horrible
  8. Tracc needs some serious goal kicking tuition
  9. Umpiring changes the course of a match....again! 2 frees to the Blues near the square not paid and one in the middle. All resulted in goals.
  10. Tiggy touch free out of the middle...some things never change
  11. What a handball Gibbons!
  12. Double 50 love it!
  13. Fantastic pressure Silvagni ...amazing goal Cripps! Common Blues!
  14. Cripps what was that disposal i50...and a fumble arghh
  15. The Blues beating them on the ground and in the air. Their closing speed is cutting down the Pies and their usual space/time to make good decisions with clean disposal.
  16. I just hope i feel more elation than suffering for the remainder of this year and beyond DD
  17. Are you saying this is all being demolished once the Hawks leave LH?
  18. That's part of the feasability surely LH. You obviously don't move in unless all boxes are ticked and viable. Less Walter Mitty than Yarra Park or Casey LH and more than likely nowhere near as costly!
  19. Yes OD i did get that part. Sorry, preaching to the converted!
  20. You've never seen a corporate move its headquarters and lose / turn over staff LH? Then you haven't lived. Our FD / admin wouldn't be using the land just the oval. Build away Mirvac. If we have success the Hawks supporters will be a squirming and gnashing their teeth. They might end up moving out (around Gosch's and surrounds!) and Demon supporters move in. Nothing stays the same LH. And if any serious Hawk wanted so spy there is a free reign (plus any other club spys) at our open sessions at Goschs. And i doubt the Hawk supporters will be too eager to watch us right now given our recent (55 plus years and early this season) lack of success vs their domination since the 70s. WP for the interim home/win!!
  21. The Hawks have won 4 premierships out of there (so far) SK prior to complaining that their present home is no longer viable. We don't have a home and have won Zero cups in the modern era (post VFL becoming the AFL). Let's get a home first and win our first cup then we can start complaining. Beggars cant be choosers im afraid.
  22. Many ways to skin a cat DD. We won't need mega funding vs say a Mt Everest complete build from scratch option that will see us out in the sticks somewhere or the 'Walter Mitty' near our beloved G option like Yarra Park. Center management are constantly changing the mix of their retail and positioning at major shopping centers to move with the times, offering improved community facilities (health / gyms/ organic food options etc) which drags in extra traffic & potentially profit etc. Might be a new mix of who / what is being offered plus a medium upgrade to some facilities both retail/club related. But nothing like the spend needed for the Mt Everest or 'Walter Mitty' near the G options. Base camp on a budget is more likely to get the funding than a push straight to the summit.
  23. If we are that stuck in the mud then we will mostly likely stay there OD! The Hawks are the benchmark and 4 premierships out of there says its fine as a potential interim option once they vacate. We need to wake up and Waverley, subject to a feasability on facilities / potential upgrade / Cost benefit... should be a serious contender in the mix if not the No.1 priority on the list.
