  1. Probably doing it because we already named JT. I'd love to see JT not shake his hand Rd13
  2. First week of March for draft day would be best if possible, 11th-18th is bloody stocktake at work -.-
  3. Just as a note - the BigFooty crew are using it as the yearly meet-up match. They're planning on trying to out-do the cheer squad. I've got neutral friends who plan on coming for the novelty of hearing the MCC boo loudest of all.
  4. Only noticed this because of a discrepancy in how we grab our memberships. With the 2012 memberships, the only delivery option was 'Will Call' when we purchased ours - meaning that they were actually to be picked up. It was an error on the website. Now, a lot of them have been sent out anyway with no dramas - but some didn't get sent. Mine was one of them, turns out it processed incorrectly. You'll just need to give the club a call and confirm details if it's an issue. So if you've purchased your membership a while ago and haven't received it yet, it might have had a similar thing happen. Just give the club a ring.
  5. EDIT: http://www.melbourne...31/default.aspx - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Just came up on MFC facebook, going to be covered on MFC website. Captaincy?
  6. From http://www.afl.com.au/tabid/208/default.aspx?newsid=123360
  7. Can someone explain UF to me? I'm interested but want to know how it works
  8. C; Trengove VC: Grimes LG: Moloney, Rivers, Frawley, Green
  9. So, how much money do we want to spend on falafels tonight?
  10. That name is downright sensational.
  11. Not really. I mean, we turned down something similar from Port for pick #2 back in 2009...and they were higher picks too.
  12. President forever, even if it's just an honourary position. Jim, you're a star. And you saved our club. Anything more is purely words, and words don't help - the ability to relax and move away from the club, to be with your kids and Sam and to fight this thing are far, far more important than some football club (despite what many of us think!) Get better mate. And I'm sure if you do the board will welcome you back with open arms if you so desire.
  13. No, he'll cost us our first pick won't he? So what if our first pick isn't til the mid-30s?
  14. On this...would we lose out on an activation of the first round pick alone? Because, well: - trade 2x picks to GWS for #1 compo pick - still get JV with 2nd rnd pick - get #1 pick (effectively) for 2013 draft as well as JV in exchange. There's our #1 pick back.
  15. By everything that's being reported, we'd want to go a long way, or at least have heavy early picks. I'm going for a double activation, with a potential to trade (wouldn't mind trading one of the compos for the GWS #1 17 year old)
  16. I'm not sure if you can trade after activation - it hasn't been tested, as only one pick was activated in the draft last year (by Brisbane) and they were looking to draft-build, not trade.
  17. If only it wasn't in bloody Caroline Springs!
  18. My mistake, adjusting.
  19. Yeah, yeah, not going to get into the merits of THAT debate.
  20. So apparently our compo picks have to be declared to be activated before the start of the season. Note that the mid first round compo is taken AFTER all clubs who have MISSED THE FINALS have had their first round pick and any ensuing compos. The lowest this pick could be would be pick #11, with the highest probably around pick #18. It varies alot depending on who does what and finishes where.
  21. How fit will he be come Rnd13 I wonder?
  22. Moving an AA defender to the forward line...even I'm not that silly
  23. GTG, none of those apply regarding the new Free Agency rules though. Rush does.
