  1. That's disappointing. Although he is 30 I really rate him and it wouldn't have been ridiculous for us to offer him 2 years, especially not having played a heap of footy earlier in his career. His body seems to hold up fine at the moment.
  2. Lol no I do not play supercoach, and there are more consistent forwards out there. He is overvalued in my opinion - you don't pay a player in excess of 500k if he is there just to distract the number one backman every week, and if he is a key forward (on 500k +) 35.30 for a season is not good enough.
  3. Yeah he thrived in the middle and I think Neeld playing him half forward in the second half was detrimental to him, even though it's all part of the development of position 'versatility'. Did well inside winning the hard ball and I want to see him back there next season.
  4. Was just going to mention this. Amazing motivation and you can definitely see why Neeld is a fan of his work. Hopefully he has the talent somewhere because matched with this drive he could become a good player.
  5. Here have a look at his stats by game - he's pretty hot and cold imo. http://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/pg-adelaide-crows--kurt-tippett As wellas that he often goes missing in big games, and the two finals this season are proof of that.
  6. Yep too inconsistent and the price would be too high for us.
  7. That is an interesting comment about Royal. Maybe he just threw the name in as courtesy (though I doubt it), but jeez he cops it on here.
  8. Caddy is rubbish. The people calling for him to be traded for have absolutely no idea. He's shown nothing really in the last two years.
  9. I don't think so mate, I'll give it my best... I've been called the Coleman of my generation.
  10. I'm keen for a kick if there are spots available.
  11. Say we were to trade for MD pick 2 - pick 1 will probably be Jack Martin but if Hogan is taken there I think we will end up pretty happy with Martin, he is an absolute jet.
  12. Yep and he will already have the confidence in his body, which you'd think would take less time to project to senior footy than someone with a body like Cook.
  13. Add Zac Smith, Kreuzer and Bellchambers.
  14. Man haven't we done this to death? I thought for a moment Range Rover was back with a detailed summary of every 1st round pick we'd stuffed up since 1988 and who we could have had.
  15. Shuey a pea heart? This kid is a gun and the vast majority of our midfield pales in comparison. Lol at people ripping into players of a team that just played a semi final. We are effectively at the bottom of the ladder and I would trade most of our players for these guys (bar Natanui).
  16. Yep that seems to work. I'm just worried that Caddy for 13 (even taking into account the 'no bid on Viney clause') will work out to be a big loss for us when the calibre of the players we could have taken is shown, though that could be a long way down the track. He just doesn't look convincing out on the field.
  17. Thanks for that, jeez he is a big unit compared to the other kids. Looks great in the air.
  18. Do you think Caddy is worth it in that deal?
  19. Can only seem to find articles and youtube is all other athletes and people with the same name, care to share a link if you have any footage handy?
  20. Taken from the AFL website: Jesse Hogan, Claremont, 12 February 1995, 193cm, 91kg Jesse is a powerful key forward/defender in the mould of Jonathan Brown. He's good overhead and very explosive off the mark for his size. We almost considered playing him in our under-18s team as a 16-year-old. He'd be in the top two or three players in the WAFL colts competition. He falls into the GWS mini-draft pool. So do people think it is worth giving up pick 3 or 4 for a mini draft pick to draft him? I think he sounds great but the only issue to me is the extra years wait. Of course we could pick up a mature bodied (serviceable) forward to fill the gap for a couple of years.. so what do you think? Also does anyone know where I can find footage of him on the net?
  21. Tell me why you think a guy with two seasons in the system, who at one stage this year picked up 3 disposals in a full game of footy, will be a star. Pick 13 alone would be overs for him and will be much better spent on one of the kids this year, or in a trade involving someone like Wellingham.
  22. So you think trading pick 13 and Petterd to Gold Coast for Caddy would be beneficial to us?
  23. Yet he does very little on game day. That trade would be a loss for us - how about we use pick 13 on one of Kennedy, Stringer or Wines?
  24. I agree, I meant if it were for only Caddy. What extras would you think are likely?
  25. If it were for Caddy that would be a shocking deal
